    He did put a lot of miles on his car, driving all over the country to fight as often as he could.

    The cynic in me can’t help but take Manny’s accomplishments in PI with a grain of salt. I’m sure they make a lot of allowances for him because of his status.

    Nor was Roy beaten by a former schoolteacher who was a cherry-picked opponent and a significant underdog with the oddsmakers come fight night. :sisi1

    I'm giving Carlos Monzon a mention...avenged all his losses (all 3 from his first year and a half as a pro)...never lost again, and retired as undefeated champ 13 years later.
