Wlad probably has the top three wins of the current generation. And none of them are Peter.

I would have said Haye but there would have been too much butthurt

I think Peter I represented a far bigger danger to him than Chagaev, or Ibragimov

Wlad over Peter is the best I see on this board and the best I can recall.

That was a good win and a pretty decent fight, yet Wlad gets more **** for it than credit.

If you meant as in who posed the biggest danger to him then that's a totally different thread and I would understand saying Peter. But you said the single best win and for me Wlad's best wins don't include Peter. They'd be Byrd I, then Byrd II, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Haye and Chambers. And his top wins are really better than anyone else active. Best performance would be different than some of those though. But the quality of the guys, is what I took your meaning for.

Nearly everyone Wlad has faced has been top 15 and several have been past (or current "champions". He's easily got the best resume in the division.

Vitali over Adamek (#3 at the time)
Vitali over Arreola (Arreola is top 10 now)

Povetkin over Chambers (Chambers is top 5 now)

Winner of Chamers vs Adamek will be #3 in all rankings I'm guessing.

I was gonna say Wlad-Brewster II, but the rematch happened too late after Brewster just had a war with Liakhovich.

it's pretty funny that Rahman doesn't count and he is scheduled to fight for povetkin's srap and fought for wlad's belt like 2 years ago (not that i disagree with your formula but shows how weak the division is generally and specially that belt that the challenger is someone that fans won't even discuss as an even barely relevant fighter)

it's also pretty sad that it's hard to argue too vehemently about your choice of wlad-peter 1. I mean Peter in that fight was a fairly dangerous hw by just about any standard but he was hardly an overall complete fighter by any stretch of the imagination and really wasn't all that good (see him getting outpointed by old fat toney and utterly shut out by laid off 40 year old vitaly)

Vitali is forty right now. You're getting confused. And the rule is that everything makes every era look weak until 20 years later when it's slanted the other way and people are ragging on that era and pointing to an earlier one to prove it.
