Who hurt margo the most... Cotto or Mosley?

Difficult to say. Obvious Mosley stopped him and knocked him down and his head was bouncing all over the place, but Cotto gave him a face transplant, and took a lot out of him for the Mosley fight.

I'd say it's about equal.

Mosley hurt Margarito with a body punch in the first round and hurt him repeatedly to the head and the body all night. Cotto never even made him flinch. Yeah Cotto scuffed his face up but he never hurt him. Margarito never even considered taking a stop backwards are stopping his assault against Cotto. He was hesitant to go all out against Mosley after just a couple of rounds

 

Look at the result of the fight and theirs your answer

what ever ****** started this thread should be banned, not once was margo hurt against cotto, shane destroyed marg, damn even cintron hurt marg more than cotto

 

one thing that I think helped cotto deliver very efffective blows in the early part of the margo fight is that despite fighting orthodox, cotto is left handed
he did land some bad ass lefts on margo

 

This really isn't even close.

Shane beat Margo's ass probably more brutally than anything Margo would have dreamed of. Cotto did his thing for a while, but only inflicted superficial damage, while Shane had him beatdown viciously in Round 8 and hit him with some bombs in round 9 right at the end, the kind that inflict permanent damage. Also, nothing Cotto did backed Margarito up, while Shane had him backing up even as early as Round 2.

I won't hate on anyone for asking the question, but I don't think it's even close...

 

I don't see it that way at all. Margarito looked good after the Cotto fight. SSM beat him from the get go. To me Margarito had an easy enough fight with Cotto. Tough at times, but Margarito sort of won easily in my mind. Rough but easy enough. There was no lasting effect. Mosley did all the damage to Margarito on Sat. If anything, Margarito knowing about the plastic in his glove could have changed the tenor of the fight. I thought right before that fight that this changes things. Margarito's edge left him. But still, that does not take away from Mosley. Mosley put a beating on Margarito which Margarito will never be able to overlook. Mosley beat him up and easily outclassed Margarito. That was a classic onesided beating.

 

I wouldn't say he looked that good....didn't you see him afterwards?

Up to two weeks after the fight with Cotto he was wearing sunglasses
because his eyes were still black and blue.

Margie had to cancell his fight in the fall of last year because his body needed the rest.....
I would say Cotto inflicted a lot of punishment.....
