Floyd held Hatton like his life depended on it for the first few rounds, and that ducking below the waist **** should should be made illegal

its boring but you cant blame a boxer like hatton, he just doesn't have the skillset to do something different. but i agree you should be deducted for doing it to much, because we pay to watch a fight not wrestling

Yes it is HORRIBLE. It is perhaps the thing I most despise in the sport apart from blatant cheating like roiding and loading gloves.

On a stylistic level I find these fighters to be the worst, and they are absolutely boring to watch. I can't believe people find hook and hold Hatton exciting, and he compares himself to Chavez in style! :nut He's not much better than John Ruiz, infact I've always saw him as John's little son.

I feel sorry for those who were sat miserable, hating the performance on saturday night because of a bit of holding. If you didn't enjoy that, you musn't enjoy boxing. It was one of the most exciting performances I have seen. I underestimated some people and thought no one would be complaining, how stupid was I.

It's a legitimate tactic within the sport. Not quite sure how you can 'hate' it as such. It's pleasing when executed correctly and isnt when it's not. Same as anything else in the sport.
