    Funny that, haven't seen any of the regular kool-aid drinking Hatton fanboys compliment PBF and the skillful way he was able to dominate the inside game in their fight...oh my bad, it was Cortez fault. :roll:

    Laws are not just what a written on a piece of paper.

    Customs can be created through repetition of action. I'm not pretending to know whether it is written anywhere that this is allowed. But whether it is written or not, the fact that boxers have held opponents right through the decades means that holding is, de facto, within the rules of the game.

    Alos, I dont think you'd find anyone within the industry who would see holding as illegal unless done excessively (as in Akinwande v Lewis).

    A few issues with this;

    1] PBF was awesome on the inside and I have said the same a number of times.

    2] You are the one that keeps banging on about Cortez. Not me.

    3] I dont know what 'kool-aid' is. I doubt that any other 'Hatton fanboys' do either.

    There's no issue worth discussing; I got my facts right in every point made.

    ...btw, kool-aid drinking boy, try using wiki/google for your ridiculous point number 3:good

    BTW, please provide the quotes where you say that I so-called banged on (which I take it means, on more than one occasion) about the ref in the fight.:patsch

    Apologies, the following are taken from your posts;

    Funny that, haven't seen any of the regular kool-aid drinking Hatton fanboys compliment PBF and the skillful way he was able to dominate the inside game in their fight...oh my bad, it was Cortez...

    :|:|:| ...another Hatton fan in denial after all this time:roll:....the world according to Guy is demanding Hatton gets a well 'deserved' rematch with guest referee Dana White:patsch

    GazProm, I'm surprised to not see a Hatton PBF rematch: The undeserved, but his english, with guess referee Vince McMahon/Dana White/etc:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

    Cortez excuse part deux:patsch :lol:

    I cant really be bothered trawling through all of the drivel you write. So the excerpts above should suffice I reckon.

    Oh, and the Kool aid comment, are you for real? You want me to google it? I'm guessing that not only have you missed the point that your comments are inaccurate but you also lack a sense of humour.

    :thumbsup

    PaddyD1983 aka just another HattonBot, a second quote with the word Cortez to you fits the definition of banging-on..if you bothered to read the those threads and the susbsequent posts you'll see that I was responding to the typical post PBF fight :| Hattonbots like yourself whose every other sentence was: it was the ref that did it. Dumb-ass...

    Dude, the language in your sentence tells the me & the world that you didn't (all of 25 minutes ago) know what the term Kool-Aid drinker refers to, so it is you who lacks the humour.

    Okay, last time I post in the general forum as it seems to be increasingly full of muppets like your good self.

    But, to clear a couple of things up before I go back to speaking to people with a decent level of intelligence and ones that actually want to talk boxing;

    You really do seem to have some infatuation with Cortez.

    PBF beat Hatton. And PBF would beat Hatton ten times out of ten. Cortez or no Cortez.

    Do I like Hatton? Yes, he's may favourite active boxer. Not really a controversial opinion.

    Dude, the language in my first post was pointing out to you that Hatton fans do not drink 'Kool-aid'. 'Kool-aid' is an Amercianism built from an American brand which is not widely distributed in the UK. Therefore, the reference is pretty lost on us. Not sure whether you have 'Ribena' over there, but if not, the reference would be similar to me calling you a 'Ribena drinking PBF fan'. Besides, we tend to stick to Guinness. :hey

    I'm not sure how we got to this particular point from talking about hit and hold.

    But to return to the point of the thread, hit and hold is a standard technique so I'm not sure how it can be 'hated'.

    Oh, and one last thing....

    I believe this might be yours;

    :patsch

    Hahaha another Balcoshanesexual mad at his father Felix Trinidad, who was never proved to have done any wrongdoing, unlike your boy Sugar Shane Balco who took steroids and who only fights by clinching and making fights a hugfest. I know your still mad Tito was better than Shane at welter (undefeated) and lightmiddle (undefeated). Bye sweetie. Play again.
