Thanks, I appreciate that. Look, I think Mayweather is an amazing fighter.I also think he has argueably the best set of defensive skills ever ! Always superbly conditioned, fast hands the total package. But, against true greats it comes down to just more than skills. Atitude, balls, fighting heart indomitable spirit. The fighters I mentioned had an abundance of that. And much needed s they fought THE best to be the best...PBF, has been very careful since beating Corrales, and it hurts his legacy,IMO...

Yeah, I think he gets accused of ducking too much, but there is no doubt that the whole Pacquiao saga has left a black mark against not only Floyd, but Pac too. I do believe that Floyd is more to blame for the fight not happening.

In any event, Mayweather has faced pretty solid competition (the odd exception like Baldomir notwithstanding) during his career. The conditions just weren't there for him to be great as it was for the Fab 4.
However, it does make you wonder how he would cope in that era because of the Pac situation. Even if they fight now, the fight is not as relevant now as it would have been three or four years ago.

The only ****** here is you if you believe a guy 5' 6" tall with a 67" reach is a giant ANYTHING.

If he wanted to drain himself to such an extent that he was dropped by jabs, and KO'd by body shots from rickshaw drivers and the like thats his problem.

What he did do was weigh in at 130, and rehydrate to 145, which is not that much more than the average S / Feather.

As for his one fight stop off at Lightweight it bears no relevance to anything.

With Emanuel in his corner, Milton has a tremendous chance.Starling, on a hot night could do it.Howard has a good chance if he fights right.

Im reading this thread, and I get the perception that people don't think that Mayweather could have beaten ANY of the ATG's because literally every noticeable historical non-heavyweight or middleweight fighter of the last 30 years has been mentioned in this thread as beating Mayweather. So the thread should be, who do people think he'd beat.

I'm having a good laugh at your expense with all the fabrications coming from you

funny how it was never brought up in any newspapers, boxing publications, or Sports Iluustrated whose writer did his best coverup and stayed away from details of the fight, not to mention, had it a 4 point fight

but only now comes up with people like u posing as someone "in the know"

I can spot a phony a mile away

So Leonard was drugged up for the fight. shouldnt he have kicked the habit when he signed up for the fight?

let give a more plausible reason for the loss - Terry's speed, prowess, defense, and Leonard's lack of experience

That is true, and it is the only real knock I can give Floyd. His skills are sublime in my opinion.

How about you facing the reality that your gutless hero will NOT gather up the cajones to face the 3 times KO'd little squirt Pacman.

Once your pea brain has absorbed that, then, and only then should you address the amount of idiocy in your imagination with regards to Mayweather EVER finding the guts to get in with the likes of Robinson, Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Curry, or even Honeyghan.

You see its all about cherry picking with your boy.

You are 100% right. It just pisses me off when people write about Mayweather beating this, that, or the other fighter, when he blatantly ducked Margarito, avoids Pac at all costs, and probably others too, yet his fanboys claim he would easily beat guys that had no fear of facing each other for bragging rights alone.

While I admire and respect the skills that Mayweather has, the failure to fight Pacman, ultimately is a mark against him. I should add that Mayweather fought just about all the top fighters, as he rose through the divisions, not everyone, but most of the top guys. He's fixated on protecting that 0, now a' days though.
    .
So instead of a classic battle between great fighters, we are left with Mayweather fighting a Twitter war online...That about sums up the state of boxing in the 21st century.

I always thought he lost the first Castillo fight. I don't think he would have matched up well with the fab 4.

I think he missed prime, Cotto, Margarito, Williams and Pac... As for the fab 4,he just would not have fought any of them. That ) is just too precious for him to risk it against THE best...
