You seriously need to have a word with yourself if you think Duran couldn't beat Mayweather. Duran is one of the greatest fighters of all time (top ten easy) and he's probably the most all round skilled fighter there's extensive footage of. Mayweather has never been in the ring with a fighter that has the all round attributes of Duran. Duran on the other hand faced all styles and (De Jesus aside) only ever got beat past his best by great fighters who were bigger men, or when he was shot to **** or out of shape. At lightweight Duran would make Mayweather **** blood.

Duran was a seriously skilled, intelligant pressure fighter with a great defence. Then you have his strength, power, awkward athleticism, relentless aggression, dirty tricks and great chin. He at times also displayed skills to box on the outside. Mayweather could never in a million years beat prime Duran. The only chance Mayweather has of beating prime Duran is if Duran comes in unprepared like he did in the first De Jesus fight.

Correct ! PBF had his hands full with Castillo ! Why would anyone think he handles Duran ??

Exactly. A past it ODH ran Mayweather close. If it was Duran or Hearns in the ring with him that night then he isn't winning. Mayweather lacks the power to keep them off. He wouldn't be able to run and shoulder roll as effectively against such a mobile, intelligent pressure fighter like Duran and he would find it very hard to pot shot counter Duran as he had such a great defence. Hearns is just all wrong for Mayweather. He would stop him very early imo.

Nowaday's too many people are mesmerised by Floyds performances against these flat footed boxer/punchers like Alvarez. There was people claiming Mayweather as the GOAT because he schooled Canelo Alvarez ffs :-( Duran and Hearns would have obliterated Canelo. You throw Mayweather in greater era's and he doesn't come out with that 0.

It`s this simple, really. Off the top of my head, modern fighters. 135,Duran pummels him over 15 rds, easy UD. 140, Pryor beats him, possible lt rd stoppage. 147, SRL and Hearns beat him ,Hearns with ridiculous ease, early stoppage. lets have some fun, aat 130 a guy by the name of Tyrone Everett beats him fast, shifty southpaw from Philly. Agrguell might be a problem for PBF too. Mre fun, 154, JJ stops him,Hearns even easier at 154

    why am I here?

to stump you. to expose you and to watch your numerous lies blow up in your face,, which I have done most successfully

    :D

now back to the question, and I expect a straight answer

how can it be Tommy is too modest to admit that he would smear Floyd across the ring if such wasnt the case with Hagler? :huh

"I'll knock him out in three" doesnt seem so modest to me

Stump me ??? Coming from Terrible`s village idiot, you stiil sound amazingly ignorant ! Hearns being older and tastefully respectful, doesn`t need to brag you idiot... Many others do it for him. Even you should get that... The way you constantly blow kisses to Mullings nemesis...

    yet he's already done it

with Duran (in two) Remember that prediction?

that's right, u werent born yet

the following year, it was (In three) superfight 85

Tommy obviously has no qualms about holding back

and he obviously thinks the world of Floyd and if he says Floyd would go the entire route (like I said) why doubt him?
