I Think Nobody In History IMO or atleast of the past 30 years could go through de la hoya's resume undefeated......

Now I bring this up is because the magical "0" is way overplayed in boxing today......

Who goes through all the names and Hall of Famers/ATG's on Oscar's Resume and goes undefeated?......and If you think somebody can please give a reason why?

Too difficult for anyone to go undefeated fighting the guys he fought. I would say, and I'm sure many haters will dislike this, Pacquiao might be able to pull it off if he was in DLH's position/weight but being Pacquiao.

Prime Sugar Ray Robinson had the tools to do it IMO. He had the ability to adjust to any style.

If you remove Hopkins from the list, I'd put money on Floyd Mayweather Jr being able to get through that resume of fighters ( if we're judging the fighters at the time he fought them and not at their prime )

Hopkins, Mosley and Whitaker are the guys that he'd struggle with, although the version of Whitaker that DLH fought wasn't as good as he used to be.

It's a hell of a resume but you couldn't put that type of resume today if you were anyone other than Oscar De La Hoya, due to the money he brings to the table.

Personally, I think Pacquaio due to his losses against Morales and is an absolute certainty to lose against Whitaker, Mosley, Hernandez and Trinidad - not to mention Floyd himself.

Trinidad solely because I think it comes down to who can knock the other out and the shape Trinidad was in when he fought Hoya was superb.

Floyd can beat bigger fighters due to his defense and ability to counterpunch, he's a great inside fighter and he's extremely fast.

Pacquaio tends to go through fighters, rather than round them and that's why I think he struggles with anyone from 154 up in that list, not to mention the guys above.

Sugar Ray Robinson: I think he could make 130 for 3 fights and stay at LW not long enough before he kills himself to make weight(SRR started at LW). And I would favor him to outpoint 39-year-old B-Hop at the 158 lb catchweight. Robinson is the only guaranteed answer.

Others wouldn't go undefeated such as:
Hearns (he's not going to make 140 nonetheless 130 let's get real)
Whitaker (he wouldn't get passed B-Hop)
Duran (B-Hop is in the way)
    Floyd Mayweather (B-HOP AGAIN)
    Pacquiao

OK so basically B-Hop is the biggest obstacle here and none of the guys above are going to beat him sans Tommy Hearns (defeating a 39 year-old B-Hop not a prime version) but Hearns wouldn't make weight for DLH's early fights so that leaves SRR

I think B-Hop, Floyd, Tito and Mosley have a big shot against Sugar Ray Robinson, remember in Ray Robinson's era too, fighters were much smaller which is why he could have the variance he had in weight.

Also, you need to take a look at the actual substance of SRR's career - the guys who weren't just bum of the month and realise that he was beatable.

Didn't someone do a win/loss ratio of all the fighters Sugar Ray Robinson beat and it was comparitively, when compared against other champions, really really really bad?

He fought so many **** fighters that it's hard to really see how good he was, cause he lost often in the competitive fights.

Leonard would have a great shot imo, obviously Hopkins would be the big question mark.

i agree with what some of the previous posters saying hopkins at 158 is the biggest problem....and the guy who could and thats a big IF beat a hopkins would be a mayweather and that stage thats a boderline ridiculous becasue floyd is just too small he is elusive enough to get points, but is he elusive to avoid shots from hopkins all night and stay on his feet I dont think so.....

I think when taking this into account, you have to take into account the entire career itself and not just see the fighter being at their prime in every single fight they had because that's not the case.

As they get older and start struggling to make weight, etc - their performances would lessen off.

Guys like Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson etc - throughout their career they had "off" nights. They weren't at their prime in every fight.
