i never grow tired of seeing calzaghe deliver the boogie woogie on jones or hopkins :lol::lol::lol::lol:

calzaghe was shot with brittle hands. jones lost to johnson, tarver and green through being knocked out but he lost to calzaghe because he got schooled by a better boxer. the gulf in class was huge, it was one of the biggest one sided beatdowns ever witnessed in an american ring :vonnecunt

god knows what a prime calzaghe would have done to roy jones that night, jones would have been eating hospital food for a month :deal

It's irrelevant because the thread is about a prime Roy Jones. Trinidad was at his best at 147-154 and hadn't fought in years and Hanshaw was an average fighter at best. It wasn't even close to the Jones of the mid to late 90's.

Dropped shot to pieces retired Calzaghe with an illegal forearm smash for 4 seconds, proving RJJ could never legally knock him down.:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Remember when Glass Jaw Roy beat Lacy? How the Jones fanboys on here said he was "back" and "now adjusted to the weight" etc.

    :lol::lol::lol::rofl:rofl:rofl:patsch:patsch:patsch

Again, that has nothing to do with this thread, anything post 2004 is irrelevant.

Rojo's are the worst fans ever, Froch would have beaten anyone on RJJ resume from SMW-LHW, and Frochs just a guy with good power, great chin and a lot of heart.

I'd hate to see what a prime Joe would do to RJJ, it may get boxing completely banned the type of massacre he would put on RJJ.

So Jones was suddenly out of his prime because he was KO'd in 2004? How convenient.:lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

That was not an intentional punch, and it was ruled a knockdown. How many times has Calzaghe punched fighters with that part of his wrist? I have seen videos floating around where he clearly swatted at Hopkins with his wrist but missed.

And Calzaghe was not shot to pieces, Roy was... Calzaghe says this with his own words after Roy was knocked out by Johnson. Saying Calzaghe was more shot or even as close to as shot as Roy is completely and utterly delusional.

I have not seen many Roy fans as delusional as you, I haven't figured out if you are completely serious yet, but it is truly hard to imagine someone that dumb:huh

No, he'd been on a slow decline for a couple of years before that, weight loss from coming back down from heavy sped up the process.

Roy was a flawed but brilliant fighter, once his speed and reflexes left him he was never the same. The same things that made him so great led to his downfall onces he was in his mid 30's.

Look idiot, it was a forearm smash, flush on an oncoming Calzaghe, calzaghe was stunned for maybe 1.4 secs, and back good as new.

Then he put an absolute clinic on him.

Prime for prime, Calzaghe stops RJJ with a Manfredo style finishing combo, he pins RJJ on the ropes, launches a 30 punch combo that leaves RJJ dazed, confused and out on his feet wondering where he is, exactly how Joe finished Manfredo.:deal

Ask anyone how serious I am, I am AngloSaxon, I base my own speed and style on Calzaghe, he is the greatest of our generation and in living memory imo.

    P.S

Calzaghe saying that RJJ was shot, was to rile RJJ into a fight, he spent 10years trying to nail RJJ to fight, he finally taunted him out of retirement, you fail at psychology.
