sorry but you guys are fighting 46and0 and headbanger the wrong way...don't fight them. address the facts, ignore their traps because they are quite good at what they do

Hopkins was green when Jones fought him and he ran from B-Hop the last 4 rounds after he got hurt and Toney was weight drained like **** he was dead man walking that night. And thats easy Hearns,Hagler, and Leonard and they were better than him to,Hopkins is pretty high actually rated higher than Jones,Toney is right with Spinks. After Toney and Hopkins his comp drops off a ****ing cliff, say its not true.:deal

you've provided zero insight, zero input and added nothing to the discussion. if you have someone that can beat jones (like ezzard charles, spinks or maybe conn), that's different

true but they know their stuff and are aruging in circles. how can you counter "calzaghe is the best ever, he never lost", or "jones is a fraud". these aren't points or arguments, they're traps

Hopkins was in his physical prime, much more active and busy fighter, not quite the dirty smart fighter he became, but Jones Jr was green as well. That win should not be dismissed. Even Hopkins wasn't able to dismiss it, it haunted him his entire career. And Toney always had the excuse of being weight drained, fact was, he was one of the best fighters in the world, knocking fighters out left and right when Jones moved up a dominated him, that win is cannot be dismissed either.:deal

Hopkins didnt lose another fight for what, a decade. Saying he was green is silly. Jones actually had less fights then Hopkins. Still schooled him onehanded.

Toney was weight drained? Another meaningless excuse.

Hearns would have no answer for Jones power and speed. Hagler was a middleweight who got beat by a 147lber. Roy could just as easily use the same tactic Leonard did. And Leonard? The same Leonard who lost to Norris? being competitive with Roy at 168? Rofl.

Clearly you're grasping at straws. Hearns had a little success above middleweight. Leonard and Hagler had none. While Roy dominated comprehensively. No comparison

there are a few that could but we mean in prime. sure, lots of cats would have a CHANCE but who would have a reasonable shot. saad muhammad, God bless him, had a punchers chance at best but spinks say or charles may well be favoured.

THIS IS WHAT THEY CAN'T ARGUE WITH OVER & OVER WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE TOTAL FOOLS...

1- No one ever claimed Jones had a great chin, but facts show that he at least had a decent chin for the vast majority of his career. We can spin **** any way we want, FACTS STILL SHOW that Jones got tagged MANY TIMES from 1989 until his fight with Tarver in June 2004, AND YOU CAN'T DISPUTE THAT IF YOU ACTUALLY WATCHED ALL HIS FIGHTS !!!

2- The point from the very start is that once a fighter strongly gets caught once, he's susceptible to getting caught again, especially when he's getting old (displaying much less stamina) and doesn't have as steady legs as before to compensate for the punch resistance diminishing....

I think if the jones fans are being fair here, they will agree that was an exceptional round of boxing from an over the hill joe calzaghe :think
