These nuthuggers disgrace Boxing History with their keyboard diarrhea about how Jones was 'unbeatable'. Listen nuthuggers not only does Jones LOSE but he gets KNOCKED OUT by:

    @ Light heavyweight

    Moore
    Patterson
    Foster
    Spinks
    Tunney
Fitzsimmons (who lets not forget beat THE Heavyweight Champion not some trinket paper beltholder like Jones did)
    Qawi

    @ Middleweight

Hagler would chew him up and spit him out like no tomorrow.

You see, Jones was afraid to take risks and make big fights. He never fought ANYONE like the guys above. Jones simply would not be able to take the pressure and power of legit ATG Light Heavyweighs he folds like a lawn chair when faced with this.

Jones looked a million dollars clowning on sanitation workers and mail-men. Most of his resume consists of civil servants who no one had ever heard of and never heard of again. A lot of his fights were the equivalent of Floyd Mayweather fighting Matthew Hatton today, of course he looked awesome.

Nobody. Guys like Benn or Hagler at MW could land some lucky shots but it is unlikely.

This is teh most insane post yet.

Benn decimated McClenan who put on a clinic on RJJ in the GG and sparring, Benn would walk through RJJ punches as Gman punches WAY harder.

Watch Eubank Vs Benn 1 and tell me Eubanks a poor attacking boxer.

There isn't any scenario I can fathon that Calzaghe loses to RJJ, let alone a prime Calzaghe, Calzaghe is lightyears a better boxer than RJJ< he is faster, better footwork, more intense, better chin, better reflexes, better skills all round.

I get Nunn and McCallum mixed up, McCallum was another hype job that was beaten by some bad names.

Benn beat a semi brain damaged fighter, plus, the amateurs is what it is, see Tillman beat Mike Tyson in the amateurs, how did their pro fight go? how did Lewis's pro fight with Biggs go? regardless of that, styles make fights, just because Benn beat fighter A-B, does not mean he beats Jones.

Eubank's attacking Boxing was poor, as a Boxing fan you should be able to identify this, see Calzaghe hit with a counter right hook when he came foward flurrying with a 2/3 punch combination on the line, he made him look like a complete amateur, Eubank was good counter puncher, he was not good on the front foot, he should of lost to Dan Schommer to.

I only just read the last two parts of your post, i see this is a troll post, im out.

Calzaghe against a PRIME Roy Jones? LOL< thnat would have been a Joke. Even Calzaghe didn't believe that bull which is why he hid out in Wales all those years until he heard someone say that Jones had lost by viscous KO.

    Only past prime LW fighters that could have beaten a PRIME Roy Jones were;
    -Archie Moore
    -Bob Foster
    -Evander Holyfield
    -Sugar Ray Leonard

LOL, Calzaghe wasn't qualified to carry any of these guys jockstrap.

Gman was 100% fine when fighting Benn, his speed and power were there, and if Gman landed on RJJ what he did on Benn, RJJ would be the one retired long ago.

Benn's performance against Gman is the exact reason why he would devastate RJJ, he would march forward, weaving, throwing bombs everytime, RJJ never fought anyone nearly that aggressive or heavy handed, one bomb from Benn, and we're seeing a Johnson/Tarver scenario again.

Eubank changed to a counter puncher, his performance aginst Benn proved he was a great attacker, high workrate and technically excellent, this changed because of the Watson result, as this is prime for prime, the Eubank that beat Benn beats RJJ, the post Watson Eubank loses via decision.

Calzaghe swarms RJJ, confuses him, cuts his face to ribbons, taunts him and knocks him out, prime Calzaghe had KO power, shot calzaghe just lacerated RJJ's face, RJJ isn't anywhere near the fight Calzaghe was, he admitted it himself.

Roy Jones in his prime (please ignore Anglo who states RJJ waas in his prime when he fought Calzaghe - TOTAL and UTTER Nonsense from a man that knows very little about boxing) would absolutely dominate Nigel Benn. Benn would have been perfect for Roy Jones. I think it would have been VERY one sided. I think RJJ would have been too good for Calzaghe. I haven't seen any fighter at 168 that would have beaten him. At 160 I think Hagler is a tough matchup for Roy. Sugar Ray too but at 168. No there was no one..

So SRL and Barkley knock out Hearns but Roy doesn't??

Hearns was not a devastating puncher at 168 and above and boxing skills don't beat a prime Roy at those weights. Roy has far more one punch power than Hagler, no way Hagler or Hearns KO Hill with one shot or blow Griffin out of the ring in one round. Slipping a jab, even a very good one, is easy for a prime Roy with his reflexes.

I don't favor anyone over RJJ at those weights in his prime, but very good puncher like Foster or Moorer has the best chance.

if G-Man had his hands wrapped properly then Benn doesn't get back up round 1. He wrapped his own hands that night as he had no official trainer with him after he parted company with Emmanuel Stewart. That decision cost him his standard of life..

G-man would have given Jones problems as he had huge power but back in the day Jones's natural boxing, ring saavy and lightening reflexes would be able to beat G-Man

lmaooo you just make **** up as you go, where did Roy Jones say this?

I post facts like this.....straight from Calslappy's mouth.....

    Joe Calzaghe - The Daily Mirror - June 1 - 1999 -
"I'm not chasing after Roy Jones. Be honest, Roy Jones is a good fighter and I don't want tough fights, I just want big money."
