Not sure if Joe would get a KO if his hands weren't as bad b/c Joe isn't really a boxer who sits down on his shots. His style is to out box and out speed his opponents and for the most part he was faster than everyone of his opponents. Even Jones when he fought him, but Jones speed would have been superior in his prime which is why I think Jones would win a Decision or if he caught Joe he has the kind of instinct to finish. It would be a great fight if that happened in their primes.

^ Unfortunately one of them was a chicken **** who preferred to fight for drunken bum lovers. Hint: He throws punches like a girl.

What's funny is how a prime Calzaghe KO's a prime Jones when a shot Jones almost Ko ed Calzaghe .

If anyone is a hype job its Joe . And not by his actions but by some of his pathetic fans ! Jones ducked a super middle when he was at lt heavy Jones was on the way up Joe didn't know where to go so why not get in line and call the name out .

Joe really wanted those big names while other fighters were involved in big fights where was Joe ? Oh I know blaming Warren ! It took him til the end of his career to man up yet people ducked him ??

    Michalczewski
    Calzaghe
    Erdei

Remember with Michalczewski, he had claim to the belts Jones was wearing at LHW, 2 weight world champ, over 20 LHW defences held the WBO belt, won the WBA & IBF belts and gave them up, beat Rocchigiani who was stripped of his WBC belt.

I read an article about the ring belt how it stopped in the 80s and then re-emerged in the 90s awarding its belt to Jones, but if the line of you the original belt was followed, it should have been DMs for beating Hill, which would now make Erdei the ring champ

DM was good but RJJ beats him IMO, Erdei aint on RJJ's level, matter of fact, Erdei aint even on Calzaghe level.

RJJ had better footspeed, handspeed, power than Calzaghe and would have beaten him on that.

Calzaghe had better work rate, but not impressive work rate since most of his punches were slaps.

Calzaghe been Knocked down by cadbury salem, RJJ would have slortered him.

I have some advice for you. Go to Google. Type in 'boxrec Roy Jones'. Check his record. There is a L in a red block next to the Calzaghe fight.

Next, type in 'YouTube' into Google. In the search box, type in 'Glass Jaws The Movie'.

    Pwned.

Calzaghe got knocked down by Saleem, prime RJJ got knocked out by soft punching journeyman Johnson, and not just knocked out, but put into a 10min coma worse than Pac did to Hatton :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

A shot Calzaghe proved he was faster, better footwork and a much better boxer.

RJJ used an illegal forearm smash on Joe, Joe walked into it flush, and he was down for 4 secs and right as rain again, if an illegal move can't keep Joe down, how is RJJ pitter patter punches?:rofl:rofl:rofl

lol@ Slortered, teh spelling I'd expect of someone who wrote the above post.
