I'll start with froch.while im at it,who is as tough as him in recent times ?
How he was so strong after 6 rounds of taking flush shots from groves is beyond me

Well froch was a puncher, had a good chin and a long reach and all kinds of heart.
Bernard hopkins had a very short reach and was never that fast or powerful. Roy jones was so much more talented than him.

Angler Andrew and pow like this.

Could have been antonio margarito but there is that dark cloud over his career, Morales wasnt very fast or THAT powerful, nor was he a defensive wizard or a technical genius but i dont think i would describe him as having limited talent. Micky ward? But he's probably not HOF material according to some

Hopkins stayed in a stale division for years, his win over dlh was made a deal of for some reason when sturm handed him his arse b4 hand.trinidad was a good win but 1 win over joppy doesnt make anyone a legit challenge in a new division.he lost twice to taylor.and flitted the division, where to ? Smw where calzaghe was ? No,he didnt fancy it.
Hopkins career is smoke and mirrors,he fought unsavvy fighters and fought illegally more than anyone ive seen since wlad.now i wont say hes not good, bordering great, but toney, jones and calzaghe were better.

Even if not hof, ward opitimized making the most of heart and pure will power.
I remember seeing his record coming into fight shay neary and thinking neary would win, after 2 or 3 rounds he come accross as being a monster.
Morales was very skillfull imo tho,he just loved a brawl and the mexican in him always shone thru.even after schooling pac in the 1st,he refused to coast

Lol at calzaghe being greater than bernard hopkins.
Bernard hopkins is one of the greatest OF ALL TIME.
Toney could've been greater but wasnt. Jones is an ATG as well either right below or right above hopkins.
That being said toney would have beaten hopkins, botha at their best because of styles. And yes jones was better. But jones at his best beats anyone from 160-175 in more often than not

    Andre Son of God Ward

A man without many talents, but his hard work supercedes everything.

Dominated 2 weight divisions, top p4p fighter on the planet, beat Kovalev, Froch, kessler, miranda, green, bika, etc.

Insane what he did for the lack of talent.

It was more a reference to the mirage of hopkins always being great.
Ggg gets slagged now for beating the same standard as hopkins did for 10 years or more.he ducked calzaghe when they agreed a deal years b4 he skipped 2 divisions to avoid him again.
He beat pavlik, calzaghe would of,kesdler was better.he beat pascal, froch did, dont u think calzaghe would school him if froch did.if you consider his reign at mw was defined by trinidad, who winky also schooled, and dlh who sturm beat the fight b4,apart from age he won certain fights, what made him this atg ?
He ruled mw because jones and toney moved up

How on earth can ward be classed as talentless ?
He is a dirty cnt,and not pleasing on the eye,and imo lost to kovalev by a fraction, but that being said,he has his style down to a fine art,i picked kessler over him in a brutal fashion but it was evident i didnt know fck all about him after watching it.hes just a diva and a bit of a ***** which lets him down

Im not picking it apart.he got zero recognition and made no money before dlh, then all of a sudden he beats an ageing ww and hes great.
He lost twice to taylor, then gets credit for stepping up and beating not great fighters.
He lost to jc and it was made out he was old ? Whos fault is it that fight didnt happen sooner ?
And who was the elite champ he beat after being unable to beat taylor twice at mw that suddenly boosted him to atg status ?
He picked his fights very wisely and avoided others even more wisely
