Who in their prime was the greatest out of these top crusierweights?

Yeah, but that was the only time he was beat at CW, vs. a HOF like Toney, and sorry for my arrogance, but based on the scandals years later, I don't think Toney did it without illegal substances. It's just my opinion, but that kind of performance almost out of nowhere, having two steroid scandals later in his career is at least very suspicious.

BTW, Toney's CW resume starts and ends with Jirov. No way he's up there on a best of list.

Jirov beats Haye rather easy IMO, as well as Holyfield and Gomez. No shame in that, Haye is pretty damn good, but all 3 had the natural talent to use David's weaknesses against him, and neither were easy to hit with a haymaker. Haye doesn't match on the defensive, punch output, stamina and chin side. There's a significant advantage for them in those areas.

ot but i think holyfield. i remember he was really a cruiserweight and real tough one at that. he was sort of bloated heavyweight, he was usually smaller in his fights against the true heavies except iron mike.
