    Joe Louis is the embodiment of the greatest Heavyweight Champ for all his accomplishments during that era.
    Ali is also right there but I have to give it to Joe.

    Clays/Ali's best performances were as Ali in the mid-late 60's, not as the young man who beat Liston the first time!

    no way was clay better than ali....
