    Ali or Louis

My respect for Lennox has increased year by year but if he's on Earth, the above two are on the moon.

Bold choice. Not too many people will agree with you, but yes on his best day it's hard to see anyone matching Charr on a H2H basis. Lennox, and of course Foreman, come close, but both men lacked that overall combination of chin, punching power and handspeed that Charr brought to the table. Watching him destroy Danny Williams was one of the scariest experiences in my time as a boxing fan; Danny looked like he was dying every time Charr landed on him. Just insane.

It's a shame his resume wasn't as deep as it could have been, but it's a well known fact that a ton of top guys didn't want to go near him until he was way past his prime, by which time all the wars he'd been in had eroded his chin. Even so it took a prime Povetkin countless punches flush on the jaw to put Charr down, a man who specialised in one shot KOing dudes like Whyte and Takam.

Come on, McCall should never have been allowed in the ring, in the second fight. Do some research.

Lennox lewis wanted an immediate rematch but it never happened. Yeah lewis lost but he got way better in his carrer and id bet my life prime lewis would have beaten prime McCall. He got alot more respective of peoples power later on and wouldnt have made the same mistake. People **** on lewis bad but he had the best resume of the 90s and he when he decimated razor rudduck even the great and powerful riddick bowe was scared to face him

I think you hit something on the head that deserves to be acknowledged.

Tyson in his prime was a human wrecking ball that could be placed against any fighting man of any discipline in history. But...the time frame was so limited. You have it for one specific year. I always say Berbick through Spinks. Regardless, by 23 years old, he was not that guy anymore.

So he became more respectful, well he made the same mistake when he was flattened by one punch, from Rahman,
He then made exactly the same excuse for the loss.
It wasn’t Rahman’s fault that Lewis was filming in Vegas then feted by Mandela, he kept his eye on the prize despite the subsequent rematch result.
Anyway it doesn’t matter what any of us think, Lennox, keeps smugly reminding us how good he was.
