    New poster here. Hi Everyone.

    What is the criteria being used for the greatest fighter in history? Are we going on purely fight record and statistics or are we being more subjective. So very difficult to compare across eras as it is in many ways a completely different sport to 100 years ago.

    I fear that plucking fighters from pre WWII and putting them in with modern fighters would be like matching Harold Abrahams against Usain Bolt - perhaps more so.
