Who in your opinion over the last three decades has or has had the best lead jab for a southpaw and an orthodox? I say Tommy Hearns. What say ye?

    Ali. Easily........
    Let me retract that..........
I thought you meant both orthodox and southpaw fighters as in more than one fighter.

I see now that you mean a switch hitter.

Vlad's jab is the best in boxing, so is his left hook, hook of the jab, etc.

Hearns had a great one. Against Shuler, it set him up for savage body shots and then BOMBS away. Against Duran, it set him up for the old one-two and then Panamanian Dreamland. Against Cuevas, it set him up for the finisher-and against SRL #1, it kept him ahead until the end when SRL lowered the boom.

Those listing Foster & Ali obviously didnt read the thread title.

Anyway, I say Holmes & Hearns for orthodox fighters.

    For southpaws, Hagler & Whitaker.
