I think it's more a case of who will fight him. No one is throwing his name out there.

 

they dont want him to become the champion. because no one wants to face him.
and yeh its funny he can move up one weight to a weight class thats more stacked and where he hasnt had one fight, to fight the champ. while everyone else has to make way for ggg.

ggg deserves it now.

 

Everyone one is just getting out of ggg's way , Sergio kept avoiding him until he could cash out against cotto


Cotto will now use the excuse that there's more money to be made fighting other names and there is more money and less risk so I don't blame him

Anyone with half a brain can see ggg is number one at middleweight by a country mile

 

Geale is one of the only guys in the top 10 that will actually even fight the guy

 

Same with macklin who was in most peoples opinion top5 when he faught him

Geale will be christened a nobody though when ggg destroys him as Roy jones said 'I just made them look like nobodies'

 

GGG has to fight WLAD in order to become LEGIT. Anyone else he fights is a BUM.

 

he has to eat himself up to 220lbs in a few months to beat wlad, then shrink back to 160 ready to fight andy lee for the title eliminator, 2 weeks after that. but if kid choclate decides he wants a title shot he goes first

 

GGG is a very entertaining fighter but if your on his bandwagon I say you should sack up, plenty of fighters have been ducked he holds a paper Title at MW already move up take on a SMW contender and then try for another title. If he's as good as advertised he should be able to hold his own one division up after some tuneups he's fighting tuneup quality at MW so why not take on those same guys at SMW where the real Champs will actually fight you.

 

thats partly the point hes making, why should GGG fight a top smw like ward or froch, without having a crack at the Middleweight strap, if hes fighting for belts like a good proffesional, then he atleast wants to get hold off THE main belt at MW. having too push a guy who hasnt even earned his place in history to move upwards is pathetic and deluded. what if it goes tits up at 168, i mean people want him to fight the best fighter at 168, having never had a pro fight at smw.
so GGG could retire with no belts, no glory and not nearly as much money as he deserves. people push for ward to go up to lhw because he holds the belts at SMW and no one can beat him. So lets atleast wait until GGG become middleweight champion before he criticize him for not moving up. Boxers will move up at there own accord and if they feel they want too. this isnt really the same as lets say paul butler at the weekend went up and took a bantamweight strap from stuart hall, because stuart hall isnt a strong champion, hes an okay fighter. but the smw division is stacked so getting a title isnt gonna be easy, i guess he could fight arthur abraham.

 

Maybe if he loses some toes the MW champ will fight him
