That Shoulder Roll, Then the Counter Jab behind it!!!!

    Sweet Science!!!

Reasons why I love the Sport!! friends call me boring because I'll Rather Watch
    a 7-3 NFL game and a 28-35 one!!!
    Love Defensive Games/And Fighters!

Think the Coolest thing is to watch a Fighter bob and Weave while his Opponent throw 5-10 Str8 Punches and Misses

Obviously(?) Floyd Sr. deserves a mention.

    Pacquiao fans are hilarious.

They discredit Mayweather for a masterful 12 round shut out of Marquez.

Yet they don't realise, that same blown up featherweight who got a boxing lesson from Floyd...well, he beat Pacquiao, clearly.

The quicker you accept the truth, the easier the pain will get.

    Deal with it :good

The *******om is strong within this one. However, the excuses he makes are sadly not nearly as strong.

PBF's dad used it, he just sucked at it compared to PBF.

He basically took Sr.'s whole style and refined and perfected it. There were things Senior would try that he just didn't have the natural talent to pull off, that Jr. does.

Now, if PBF used something more akin to Uncle Roger's style the majority of the time the lion's share of his critics would be forced to STFU about him being "boring".

Actually, I think Floyd gets his style from uncle Roger. Now...Roger tried the roll, but he wasn't the athlete that Floyd is...and he got beat. Nevertheless, Roger's style is very effective for Floyd and I think Floyd has added a thing-or-two to it since then.

So...let's take a look at 1995 when Roger Mayweather fights Kostya Tszyu:

You can definetly see the Mayweather style in this fight.

I don't think any one person went out and invented it, rather it was developed over time. It's actually a pretty natural reaction to raise your shoulder to protect yourself when your lead hand isn't high

James Toney deserves a mention as well! Not saying he's better but he's right up there.
