LOL, I don't respect slappers. I will walk him down and stop him late just like the Tijuana Punisher.

Williams should be top 10 p4p ... he's by far the best welterweight in the division by process of elimination.

Ok, so we have to sort it out right? well, he asked and my opinion is that Margarito is the #1 welterweight as of now. If Williams can't fight Margo he should of fought someone better than Andy Kolle to prove he really is the real deal and that he is being avoided.

ps: don't say that because he's been avoided there is no one else to fight. For a fighter who can fight in three different weight divisions with out any problems he should be the one with the least problems in getting good fights. Maybe not the one that will make him look good, but certainly tough fights that would earn every boxing fans respect.

So I'm out for now people, God Bless.

    Oh yeah I forgot

I see... so by eliminating Sharmba Mitchell and being 1-1 with Quintana he is BY FAR the best welterweight?

I like Paul, but his only true accomplishments in the WW division are the wins over Margo and Quintana.

Sorry, but that is not enough to rank him higher than a man who has beaten Cotto (#1 welter at the time), Clottey (#5) and Cintron twice (#10).

Beating Sharmba Mitchell, Walter Matthysee, Carlos Quintana, Antonio Margarito, and a recent win over a middleweight who only lost one fight and was on a 6 or 7 fight win streak ...

I say thats enough to be a top p4p guy ... he's fought at 147, 154, and 160 during his career.

Margarito couldn't beat Williams ... he got one win over Cotto and now he's the man? ... **** ... there is someone out there who beat and and his name is Paul Williams. He hasn't beat Paul Williams and since he hasn't he's not the best welterweight IMO.

I agree...sort of....A better question to ask is "Why doesnt Margarito want to avenge his defeat and prove that he is infact the man at WW?" what is stopping him? Certainly not money......The fact is Williams beat Margarito..plain..and simple...Now they both have a title and are claiming to be the best in the division.....Margo was offered a substantial amount of money to rematch Williams.....this offered was ignored?? WHY......From this very simple time table I think its safe to say who the real Champion and warrior is here...that would be Williams...because in all actuality Williams doesnt need Margo..Margo needs Williams to prove he is the best more than anything...

There is no linear so we have to base it off of head to head. In that respect Williams beat him. End of.

Of course it means a lot, that's why I said there's no #1 but based on recent accomplishments at the weight Margarito has done way more to be honest.

Cotto was rated #1 before Margarito beat him and he got his spot by beating him there even though he wasn't #2 before the fight. That's why people are begging for a rematch to make a final decision, right now it's complicated but still doesn't erase the fact that Margarito beat the #1 rated fighter at the weight recently.
