Who is a better fighter, currently - Mosley or Dawson?

Mosley easy. Dawson will get exposed soon. Good figther, just not the P4P guys people think he is.

 

He did show up against Cotto, but personally I thought he could have done a lil more. He shouldve outboxed Cotto instead of trying to outslug him. Dawson did look bad in his last fight though. Give me a sec....

 

Dawson is the better boxer and didn't get his most notable wins off of one fighter (DLH) ...

Right now Dawson is the better fighter ... 10 years ago ... I would have to say Shane ... but Dawson turned pro in 00'

 

The Cotto/Mosley fight was funny because in the first 5 rounds or so, Mosley stood toe to toe with Cotto and it was a war. But around mid 5th, you could tell that he didn't want to bang and he started to box a lot more. It worked. And what's even funnier is that around the 9th round on, it was Cotto that was backing up as he seemed gased and Mosley was chasing him. This was a great fight. Tons of action. Mosley is a fun guy to watch. He comes to fight. He has heart.

 

Oh, and Mosley's got a heck of a chin. He took a couple of flush left hooks from Cotto and he was never hurt.

 

shane mosley even now can hang with the elites, shane had a close fight with miguel cotto, he can beat margo, cintron, quintana, williams, clottey, berto.

 

Keyword: "Hang" ...

Dawson is the future of the LHW division and Mosley is an old fighter ... Dawson hasn't reached his prime ... Mosley is past it ...

 

past it mosley is better than overrated dawson, mosley can beat everyone at welter except maybe cotto and floyd.

 

And Dawson can beat everyone at 175 with the exception of no one.:hi:

 

I can't dispute that Relentless, but I think that now Dawson is the better fighter ... now ... not throughout his career, but in 2008.

Mosley is still good but now has taken the roll of live dog ...

 

mosley is dangerous even right now when he is past his prime. Could still get a title even at 147-154. Dawson as good as he is and no he is not overrated still needs improvement. His last fight tarnished his image

 

That was a tough fight for him ... it didn't tarnish his image IMO ... I think if anything it has made him a better fight ... it was a tough fight against a tough foe ... Johnson wouldve made a tough for anyone in the LHW division.
