There hasn`t been a 212lbs fighter that can punch with Tyson`s power, Holyfield and Tyson both weighed 218lbs when they fought each other in 96, nobody lighter than that could beat Tyson.

    Don't know enough about foreman

Of the other three I'd say

    1. Wlad
    2. Tyson
    3. Wilder

If Wilder KOs Ruiz, which I don't expect him to, I'll bump him ahead of Tyson.

    Fair point.

Haye fought a Wlad who was trying to KO him and was wearing smaller gloves, compared to sparring a Wilder wearing bigger gloves, and says Wilder hit harder I believe.

212lb Tyson would actually be very competitive with 214lb Tyson. Anything over 215lbs, and Tyson loses more in speed than he gains in power. 213lb seems like it would be a good compromise, but I've never rated Tyson at 213lb whatsoever. Always felt bland and just "ok" at everything, instead of specializing in power like 214lb or speed like 212lb versions of Tyson.

As far as no one below 218 beating Tyson. Well a 218lb Holyfield did beat Tyson. Fairly easily also. Are you saying if Holyfield had entered the ring at 217lb Tyson would have beaten him that night?

Never knew that. I've only kept up with Wilder as far as in-ring goes although if it is true then fair play to him.

A prime Tyson would have, he really looked bad without Rooney in his corner.

There are two things wrong with that statement.

You really do not think prime Ali, around 212, could not beat Tyson?
He would likely pysch Tyson out. Weather the storm, with his prime speed & more clinching when at his best in the 1970's.
Maybe with unorthodox stratehies like against Foreman.

Others would have some shot, although I agree that very few under 218 are likely to beat prime Tyson.
But while Tyson hit very hard, it was the speed, combinations & accuracy that gave him disproportionate impact.
I & many have said often in absolute terms he did not hit the hardest.

When Wilder was 212.5 against Wilder I am very sure he could hit harder.
Liston in all likelihood hit harder.
Very marginally shorter & lighter than Sonny is....Shavers. He almost certainly did.
    Max Baer likely hit harder.

Who is the hardest puncher and who is the best finisher are two different questions with two different answers.

Tyson is the best finisher while I think Klitschko is the hardest puncher.
