Manny deserves an Oscar for his acting job. Agapito outworked him! Perhaps its the reason why Floyd avoided fighters with great movement. Agapito would fight small and deliver smashing blows to the body.

JMM has been a protectve fighter until the Barrera fight.

I assume you mean protected?, don't think so. Marquez has been seriously avoided as he was rising and the man to give him a shot was no other than Pacquiao when he made the first fight. His own countrymen Morales, Barrera and others constantly turned him down. Hamed also turned him down numerous times and was ready to vacate a belt to avoid that fight. Of course you won't see any of his countrymen fans giving Pac ANY credit whatsoever for giving their man a shot but will shamelessly praise other countrymen who avoided him for as long as they did.

JMM was never protected, it's other guys that protected themselves away from him. Pacquiao was man enough to give him a shot at a time when he was too dangerous with not enough reward to deliver because not many knew how good he really is. Pacquiao had a lot to lose simply because he had an unexpected major victory over Barrera which brought him the serious attention he needed, JMM didn't have much and getting a draw in that fight is what forced others to fight him because he became popular enough and worth decent money to fight for the risk he provides. It took Barrera far too long to finally fight him.
