Who is Andre Ward's next opponent?

Ward- extremely frustrating inactivity after he had the best platform to jump from after he defeated Froch. Even up until the massive inactivity that followed his beating of Dawson, the man looked ready and willing for anything/anyone. Now, he just seems contempt to stay in boxing without his gloves on.

 

It's just sad to see Ward throwing his prime away like this. Just sad. Especially after him and Virgil were talking about fighting 3-4 times this year after the Rodriguez fight. Now it's looking like once or not at all.

 

Does anyone know for a fact when his contract situation will be resolved? Is their an actual Court date or is this mess under a pile of appeals? I cannot blame him for wanting away from that fat, nauseating coke addict/dealing scumbag Dan Goosen who has managed to bankrupt every business partner he has been involved with.

He does have a pretty good deal doing his bland, borderline acceptable colour commentary on HBO so it is unlikely soul brother Al Hayman will drag him over to Showtime. Although there are no Eastern European boogey men at showtime sh who knows, going over there might be just what he needs.

 

It's wards way of avoiding threats for that precious 0

 

ward will be force to move up. nobody at 168 for him that hbo will pay for. all the other good fighters are taken. ward just wants a mandatory fight the number 1 guy for his title. but hbo and paying for that bull, he gone have to fight a beast at 175 lol.

 

Ward's next fight has been announced, and it's him against Dan "lock'em, Rob'em" Goosen.

 

He's rematching Rodrguez in Oakland

 

Ward isn't fighting anyone any good unless he does at least one of the following things:

1. Leave Jokeland
2. Either move up in weight or down, or agree to a catchweight fight rather than expecting everyone to come to him.
3. Accept that he isn't a bigger draw and not demand a much bigger piece of the pie than the real ticket sellers.
4. Agree to drug testing.
5. Develop a personality.

 

Ward inactivity will cause his ranking to drop and drop as time goes on, i wouldnt have him at 2 in the p4p anymore.

Ward is in a great situation as he has GGG, Kovalev,Adonis and Groves who will be highly ranked if he beats Froch. If he really wants to become a big money draw and p4p number 1 he should fight them one after the other without demanding ridiculous terms

If he beats them 4 he would be the p4p number 1 as Floyd will more than likely have or be near retiring and then he will be a draw and can have all his fights in his kitchen if he wants.

Unfortunetely his not trying to make any of these fights and fans are starting to lose patience with him

his fought twice in the last 2 and a half years thats no where near enough

 

Ward has already beaten WBO champ Abraham, WBC champ Bika and IBF champ Froch.
That leaves Chavez Jr vs Golovkin winner.

Brandon Gonzales
Andre Dirrell(i believe Anthony is with GBP)
Jermain Taylor
Rematch with Froch

HBO wont let him fight just anyone either so i think his hands are kind of tied.

 

His ego and sense of entitlement...

 

Ward will only fight in his home town with his personal referee, judges and boxing commission. Looks as if he is once again tied up in court................

 

Chavez-Golovkin winner not available until Nov/Dec
Tommy Gun is at LHW now
Gonzales is his friend, trains with Hunter
Dirrell doesn't fight anymore
Taylor is being fed to Quillin on Showtime in the next year
Froch doesn't want to know unless he's A-side, doesn't work with Ward's ego

...there. No option.

 

A total wasted career.Man up and honour the contract with Goosen and get on with your life.You don't have to like the person your in business with as long as the money is beneficial to both parties-just not for yourself.:deal
Ward is an ingrate of the highest order and getting terrible advice.

 

Who cares he could send a glass eye to sleep, boring, scrappy and dirty fighter.
To scared to step up in weight and test himself, his next fight will be just like his last one some no mark top 20 fighter.
