Ohh poor Joshua lost becuase his hand was hurt, Awwww boo ****ing who, Tonys wrist and ankle was hurt in that fight and he didnt cry about it, he didnt stop fighting you know why? Becuase Tony wanted to remain the champion and becuase Joshua Clottey did not want to take the risk to become champion.
Your right!! :good Good for you do you want a cookie? okay now here is a little bit of information that you ignored, The only reason those guys are ranked higher than Margarito now, is becuase Tony just won the IBF title and went un ranked by the other three governing bodies, when ever you hold a title your not ranked by the remaining sanctioning bodies thats a fact. Now the IBF stripped him for taking the Cotto fight, and he has just dipped back into the ratings.
Who is Miguel Cotto? He's fought nobodies Who is Zab Judah? He's lost every big fight he's had Or Mosley? Roid muncher who got smoked by Vernon who got starched himself Who the hell did Mayweather beat? Chico? Hatton? Come on! Terrible fighters Who is Bernard Hopkins? A middleweight who picked on welterweights. Calzaghe? Bloody Eurobum. Infantile logic.
They had major belts big ****ing deal anybody can win one of those now and days, try again, you all talk about how many losses Tony has and Floyd shouldnt fight him because this that and the other, well How many losses did Gatti have when Floyd fought him? or how about baldimor? fact of the matter is most the hate towards Margarito stems from the fact that no matter what Floyd boys say it doesnt change the fact that Floyd ducked Margarito turned down 8 Million dollars to fight Margarito that doesnt change and it eats you all up becuase its a fact.
chill daddy cotto beat shane who beat oscar who beat quartay camacho and pernell zab= major belt holder haha wait what the **** are you even talking about... if all the guys you just listed are over rated or something... who isnt?
i didnt mention anything about the loses... the point of this thread is that... if your trying to make money or build a legacy as a fighter.. theres literally no point in fighting marg... its a waste of time nobody knows him and he hasnt achieved **** in building a legacy you either have to beat fighters who are recognized.. or beat fighters who have achived something.. marg hasnt done either .. and you gotta be honest with your self and agree with me
One of the main reasons Floyd used for not fighting Margo was he has too many losses, but then he goes and fights Boldamir. How many losses did Boldamir have?
Easy.....he's the guy who fights Cotto on the 26th. He is the guy who comes in to this fight a pretty big under dog. He is also the guy who will beat Cotto on that Saturday, July 26th
The casual fans do not know Margarito, the hard core fight fans do, and if you disagree with that your full of ****, and you should not be allowed to further discuss this matter. Now I agree the casual fans do not know much of him, That will change on Saturday, However its not always about Money, To Floyd it is, thats all he is about taking the biggest money fights he can get, but that doesnt do nothing for your legacy. its also about fighting the best, and Saturday the world knows the two best Welters are fighting, and I can promise you this after Saturday night that will no longer be an issue. The count down series on HBO has done a great job turning the average joe on to fights, and I am sure this fight will do very well with the numbers I am sure that once the numbers get put together Floyd will be licking his chops, I am not so sure that he will be doing so if Margarito comes out the winner which I think and said will happen. Everybody knew who Gatti was when Floyd fought him, who didnt? I mean three wars with Ward just prior to that fight, then the story to go along with it about him being a living highlight reel no doubt people knew who he was. But he had a number of losses as well, to much lesser fighters Manfredy, Robinson Ward, those guys are not A level fighters you know this so dont act like they are. However nobody knew who Carlos Baldimor was either so why is it that Floyd fought him when nobody knew who he was? the truth in my eyes is that it made more sense from a business perspective and not a legacy perspective, Floyd fought him for the WBC title and a 8 million dollar bid that was placed just after Tonys people offered Floyd to fight. Basicly it was the easier of the two, and the WBC strap made it worth more to Floyd, but my question is, Why didnt Floyd fight both? 16 Million is alot of money to pass up on Floyd could have made some serious cash leading up to the DLH fight and the Hatton fight. But I beleive that Floyd did not want to risk lossing a fight with Tony becuase a fight with DLH was a very good reality and it was, but my point is the fight with Tony made dollars so suddenly why didnt it make sense?
baldomir had 10 when he fought floyd... but atleast he had a belt to show for it marg had 4 the time he offered floyd but he had nothing to offer.... not even an impressive name on the resume
