Hi everyone.

My name is Apollo James Jackson and I am currently an amateur boxer and a freelance boxing writer.

I am a huge boxing fan and as well as training and competing myself, I also enjoy meeting and interviewing other boxers as well as managers, trainers and managers.

My short term aim in boxing is to forge a highly successful amateur career and earn an Olympic Gold Medal in 2016. My long term goal is to turn professional after a successful amateur career and Olympic Medal and then become British Champion before fighting for and winning a world title and properly unifying and conquering each weight division I fight in before moving up to the next.

Ultimately I hope to go down as an all time great and be remembered as someone who fought and beat the best of my era. As someone who never ducked anyone.

Fair play to him for showing up and getting in first at the press conference. Fish eyes llooked a bit surprised that he asked a reasonably sensible question!

 

I speak to the dude quite a bit on Facebook, he's got decent knowledge of the sport although he's very opinionated.

He's a nice enough guy, he is freelance, doesn't work for anybody

 

I worked with him on one occasion and he has a tendency to **** fighters off if he spends more than 5 minutes with them

 

I wanna' talk to him.

 

He's on Facebook, easy to find as he's always commenting on Spencer Fearon's wall.

He ended up deleteing me because i disagreed with him on a subject lol

I saw his post on Fearon's wall the other month stone me the kids a ****ing mentalist. The post was like a Novel i don't think Fearon could even be bothered to like it.

****** dealt with him the way i would cos he does seem quite annoying you gotta let him know straight you ain't messing around for 20 mins just ask the ****ing question lad!.

That's one crazy man right there.

 

I first met him at the Mike Tyson show in Peterborough. On the Mike Tyson tour last year he was at every single date in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Newcastle. He was also at the Joe Calzaghe and Duran/Hearns shows in Stoke.

Apparently he trains with James Cook?
