All Joshua and Hearn . He's coming off 3 losses and trying to call shots. This is it, his last chance at a belt, before he gets knocked out by some journeyman. This fight was a no brainer for Joshua, sign the contract, and tell your promoter to do whatever it takes to get this thing finalized.

AJ is likely on his way out and has had zero problem fighting tough opponents in the past. Fury has been ridiculously inconsistent on social media with his mindless rants and seems to want the Charr fight badly. I think it’s obvious who’s as fault.

With Fury giving unrealistic deadlines and calling out unranked opponents? It's obviously Fury's fault, his promoter has even said as much. I don't see Hearn missing an opportunity for AJ to fight for a belt, risking his cash cow into obscurity before collecting what will be a huge money fight.

So why haven't they signed the contract then?

    It's still on the table.

As Frank Warren said, the promoters, managers and networks have to agree and sign off on it first. Fury "just lost patience" despite Warren stating that negotiations were going quickly and well. I'm not a legal expert, but it's hardly a simple individual agreement.

I believe Joshua let his mouth run off into the jungle screaming about fighting Fury after back to back losses and when it returned he realized if he loses to Fury " and he would," he's going to the back of the bus and would have to beat some up and comer to regain his traction. So after Hearn brought him back to reality he'll fight Arreola , or some other medicare recipient .

An AJ fight would probably generate more money then an Usyk fight. On top of that it’s an easier fight. Why would Fury not want that?

Hearn is on record saying that if a fighter wants a fight enough, then it takes 48 hours maximum to get the deal over the line.
The contract is sat on AJs table STILL....Clearly this is Hearn keeping his cash cow secure.
And then, maybe it is Furys fault for scaring AJ with those oh so dreadful deadlines!...pfft

Fury did nothing wrong here except make fake deadlines.
but he's simply showing a sense of urgency and gets criticized for that.
Fury expects others to make this fight because ... he is just a boxer.
there's absolutely no doubt Fury wants the fight.

AJ wants the fight and has accepted terms. he knows it is a great opportunity. which put everyone invested in him in a dilemma.
they want a more winnable fight on the back of two losses. so they can build up a ' ' new improved Joshua" hype train and squeeze another handful of big paydays out of him, on a multi year plan.

it's probably Hearn who will be attempting to run the clock out on this.

he can get AJ a belt against another Charles Martin type soon enough. because there is no way Usyk/Fury are going to keep fighting mandatories and keeping the belts unified.
both Usyk and Fury are likely to retire or vacate belts within a 12- 18 months tops. could be sooner.
AJ is a win or two away from being in line to be a mandatory also.

Could be. After those back-to-back slickings at the hands of King Usyk he might be bricking it at the thought of Fury reverting back to the slick gypsy style
