The whole thing feels like theatre to me. Why would either side do it in December in Cardiff when they could probably do it in Saudi Arabia for way more money next year?

Cross promotional set-backs , managers / promoters , rival networks - these are the main factors at fault.

Exactly. If they are both really interested in fighting then this would have been done ages ago....

Hearn, theres 0 urgency. Whilst I think they would take the fight - I dont think they would mind not having it either.

Yeah this is it in a nutshell. Literally go and watch any of Hearns latest videos and he seems totally calm and to me, really not bothered about this fight at all.

Little from column A, little from column B.

Fury never thought AJ would accept, had his bluff called, and has come up with fake deadlines, etc. to try wiggle out.

Hearn doesn't want AJ losing 3 times in a row and has stalled as much as possible.

Both are probably happy this has fizzled out to be honest.

They tried to make the fight, it didnt happen now, but it seems its aligned for next year.

You mean he will retire before Usyk goes back to cruiserweight or fighting Canelo and still claiming he's willing to fight Fury.

Who failed the fight - Hearn, for sure. Fury just helped him with too much talking and pressure, so to make Eddie have an excuse. So in a way, to flatter the Fury haters and the AJ fans - we can say Fury has some (10%-like) fault, the way bigger part of the fail is on Hearn. And you'll see AJ will never dare to call Fury, Wilder, Joyce, a third fight with Ruiz. For Usyk it's already clear. AJ is about to fight top 5-20 from now on.

    Any info on that?
