    Booth is another. Rumours at the time were that the Groves split was due to money, although I recall Booth vehemently denied those rumours and I'm not sure if Groves ever addressed them directly.

    My money is on Booth as well although Billy Nelson's cake bill could be big enough to justify a high percentage

    Agree mate it’s mind boggling. Even if the boxers in question are poorly educated, surely any reasonable man can see that when you’re putting the effort and sacrifices in, you do everything to reap the rewards.

    I been on the booze tonight mate so when I posted this I never saw “trainer/manager” and thought it just said manager.

    Surely it’s got to be Booth or Gallagher unless Shane McGuigan also has some sort of management function. Can’t see lower profile boxers who make £10k purses giving over 40% so it must be high earners getting shafted.

    Another shout could be Danny Vaughan with the MTK lot. He’s been done in the past for benefits fraud so he’s got previous for shafting people.

    If you go to the BBBofC website there is a list of managers, you can scroll through it and try to work out who it is.

    On a side note, Is that right? Adam Etches manages fighters? I didn't know that, I'm assuming it's the fighter Adam Etches.


    Anyway, looking through the names you can see who is also a trainer, there are a few high profile ones but I don't think it's that obvious, surely it would have been mentioned before.
