you know what, pea was so smooth i just considered it part of his style, it never seemed like he was trying hard to show off like someone like calzaghe for example i love the way he separated clinches with the guy he fought for the 154 lb belt... so much style
Irony. Someone who escaped from a high security experimental facility and has the mental capacity of a Tarsier, criticses someone saying they have mental issues and can't dance.
Hopkins vs Pavlik was brilliant! That had to be the most embarassing showboating imo. Man he made Pavlik look like his 24 carat *****! Calzaghe is more funny than embrassing for his foe - two different types. Joe's peek-a-boo vs Jones was awesome! Did people even pick up on the fact that it made Jones open his turtle shell defence? VERY clever by Calzaghe!
I'm stuck between Jones and Prince.... hmm.. I'll give it to Prince, he was funny as **** when he did it.
Indeed. They were some of those "so bad/awkward/cringeworthy that its awesome" moments As the guy above says though, Chris "Peacock" Eubank. He was the ultimate master showman
Max Baer was one of the earliest showboaters. Ali was the best. Sugar Ray Leonard did a fair share of showboating.
