People love to vote duran, but his record vs like ATG is horrible, the worst of any of the fighters on the list except maybe Tyson.

Question asks in their prime...Duran's inconsistencies at the higher weights had a lot to do with the fact he was well away from his prime weight.

Duran at lightweight in his prime would be the best fighter I have seen personally.

Prime age not prime weight. Jones rarely fought in his prime weight nor did Mayweather or Holyfield. Those guys faired far better above there best weights then did Duran...Not to mention that durans resume was pretty weak at lightweight, not to mention that Duran was never a true lightweight and most people forget that, he was as much a lightweight as Oscar was. Duran only fought like 9 of 38 fights at lightweight from 1972 until he gave up the title in 1978. Duran was having a hard time making the weight as early as 1971...I know that Im hard on Duran but damn he once defended his lightweight title vs a guy that was 3-4

Good point, except people mostly remember his fights with ATG material above his best weight.

    I went with Ali.

    Holyfield way too high, imo.

Other than that, it's a pretty good ranking.
