I think Price would beat Haye. Price would be under serious pressure but his height and absolutely devastating power would show up Haye's lack of credentials as a heavyweight.

Price could end the fight in one punch and send Haye to sleep for a long time, The inverse isn't true in my view.

What about based on toe durability, or form for self uppercutting?

Haye by a country mile both in terms of achievement and talent.

Nice to see Price is getting massively overrated AGAIN after beating Sam bloody Sexton. Don't get me started on Chisora.

Aaaaaah the mythical David Haye head movement !!!!

I understand your post loud and clear , and to a degree i agree with the logic , but i really have no idea where people get Haye's attributes from , he has speed , he has power (when he actually lands and doesn't hit fresh air) , his reflexes are good for a Heavyweight but by and large nothing special at all , so to that end i think a) you have over rated Haye and b) under rated Price

Going back to Haye , ill elaborate a little more on what I'm getting at here , he has no basic fundamentals , he doesn't jab , or back it up with a right hand , he doesn't double jab , he doesn't use basic angles or mix his attacks up , he's basically a head hunter with a right hand who can be fairly elusive against the majority of B and C level HW's , his lack of proper schooling will always haunt him against a well schooled world class HW , he is severely over rated as a HW , i have no idea where his ratings come from , i honestly think people do not review or assess his fights , and the basic things he doesn't do

Price as it stands right now , as you say in leymans terms , is a poor mans Wlad , but ill tell you this , Price isn't afraid to let his hands go , and i believe what he has in his arsenal right now , is good enough for David Haye

People are talking about hype , David Price has been fighting the Elite of the HW ama world since he was 17 , David Haye has fought 1 elite fighter in his entire career , Price will beat Haye

Im not sure about that , if Haye lands flush on any HW in the world he tends to cause damage , Pricey has shown chin flaws as an ama

Price has power in every shot he throws , he is naturally heavy handed at the weight , Haye isn't , it has to be a well timed power shot for Haye to cause problems , Price can end your night with a jab

There is a difference in the type of power these men possess

    THIS

Jesus how many diluded people are on here :-(, David Haye is clearly the best. Price is a prospect but is 29, Fury is 23.

Haye will beat Chisora with ease and same with Price and Fury despite him being a crusierweight.

    Haye by a mile.

Price has sparred both Chisora and Haye and i believe Price said himself that Haye is the best fighter he sparred and used a term along the lines of Haye being 'A different Class'.... so yeah... i'd go with Haye

I don't rate Haye that highly at all, but he does have SOME tangible achievements. He unified a division at World level, and fought at World level a number of times. Price has beaten a couple of top ten British HW's.

Right now Price needs to beat some guys in REAL fights, not hypothetical ones. I'm not saying he can't, he might well end his career an ATG, but if right now he is a world level fighter, why is Maloney not putting him in with World names? Guys like Konstantin Airich, Monte Barratt, Michael Grant who are fringe World class? He's not even fighting at the class below World level yet.

Price might just be the next Courage Tshabalala or Shannon Briggs rather than the next Klitschko. Fury has fought at a higher level, so as much as he looks like an accident waiting to happen, that accident hasn't happened YET, so I'd place him above Price too.

And before mentioning Price's amateur pedigree, remember A-Force... And the fact that Price's amateur career took place even deeper into the "fencing with a feather duster" era of amateur boxing.

    Haye is top
Imo second is tricky between Fury Price and Del. - Delboy lost to Fury, BUT if he fights like he did againt Vitali / helenaius then IMO Del wins a rematch. Price looks great but has not fought Del or Fury. So based on Current form / records I would go as follows...

    Haye, Fury, DelBoy, Price

If I were to have a guess as to where these 4 would rank in 3 years time.. I would go for...

    Price, Haye, Delboy, Fury

Well ill start by saying that what Haye achieved at Cruiser cannot and will not be scoffed at by me , what he's sone as a HW will !!! , he's looked shoddy and reckless in technique and he's beat a handful of bums , I'm sorry but thats the way i see it , unfortunately for David Haye them bums happened to be ranked highly enough to be mixing for world title's , but they are crabs , and Haye has looked distinctly beatable every time he's stepped out as a HW , apart from Audley

Price's first target as per instruction from Mr Maloney , was to win a British title , he's done that , next target European or defend his British title 3 times , then a world title , does this process sound familiar ??? , Price would completely outbox the majority of the top 10 in the world , one or two would raise some questions no doubt but aside from the Bros i don't see anyone who i would definitively say , " he would beat David Price " , certainly not David Haye :deal

Ok Tyson Fury , what you have said there shows a blatant dis regard for pedigree in boxing , Fury was number 2 behind Price all his life in team GB , Richie Woodhall has quoted " Price and Fury are not on the same level , but they are the 2 best ama HW's in GB " , and that was when he was involved , Fury doesn't have the technical ability or the desire Price has , Fury kicked on a bit quicker than Price as a pro and has a couple of good wins , a couple of scares but when he's been on it , he's looked the part (last 12 months) , but i do not believe he is on the same level as David Price .

You can say what you want about ama boxing , but to be successful , you have to be able to box technically , as a HW if you can be as good an ama as Price was and transform that ability to the pro ranks , you can be a force to be reckoned with , the foundations are in , and you have your platform , those who skip the foundations or couldn't successfully lay them , may be found wanting !!! , not always true granted , but in Haye's case it is , certainly against better schooled fighters , who are 4 - 5 stone heavier than him , thats where he'll find problems

Just to wrap up , who do you think at HW (from Haye's list of opponents) Wlad aside , (Bonin , Barrett , Valuev , Ruiz & Harrison) would give Price anything to think about ???

Respectfully i know Ruiz and Barrett are done , but that backs up what I'm saying about Haye here , I'm merely pointing out the level of who he's beaten
