Wow :yikes Do we really need to post the Fury video ??? , and the multitude of Haye videos being wobbled and battered ???
I didn't tell you not to post big man , your a grown man (i assume) you can do what you like , i suggested that if you can only post shite then don't post :good
So you think Maloney is holding him back from big money lucrative world level fights because he wants to follow a process? Bollocks mate, if Maloney thought he could go in and beat the best in the world now, he would be making those fights, because Maloney is a boxing promoter, and his interests are in making money. I don't care what Price's pedigree is. Audley Harrison has a better pedigree than Price, so if we now judge fighters on amateur pedigree alone Price is second best to Audley. The modern amateur game is not a good indicator of pro-success. It's not the 80's anymore. The trouble with Price is the things you haven't seen yet. Fury, with all his limitations has been through adversity and come out on top. He's fought more times, against better opposition, he's been knocked down, he's been in trouble and he came through it. Price might give up at the first sign of danger, he might freeze up like Bruno. He might just hit the deck and not get back up. He can box technically against inferior opponents, but can he keep his head when they box back? Valuev, Barratt and Ruiz are better than every single name on Price's resume, and arguably Harrison is too. And Haye fought about as well against Wladimir Klitschko as I thought he would. Wladimir Klitschko just happens to be very good. David Price has gone up in my estimation in his last two fights, and if he can bridge the gap in levels between British and World then I'll be the first to applaud him. But don't try and tell me he can go from Sam Sexton to beating top 10 guys with no evidence of it, that's just guesswork.
Guess work ??? Id put a years wage on Price stopping Bonin , Barrett , Valuev , Ruiz and Audley , inside 8 rounds at the very most , and ill say this , anybody who thinks any of the above beat Price don't know there boxing :deal There a list of chumps !!! , nothing more Were on different pages here mate , Price is tried and tested at world level as an ama , and he is sparring some of the handiest HW's in the world including a brief stint with Wlad , and holding his own , the type of question marks your raising are just not relevant , he is unusually active in sparring , and i mean the frequency he's sparring top fighters Tyson Fury spars his ****in Brothers !!!!!! Do you actually know who makes up the list of the top 10 HW's in the world , and have you seen them box ???
Sparring is good for him, and the ams was good for him, no argument. But they don't compare to professional fighting. I know plenty of lads who look great in the gym, and spar hard but can't replicate it in a fight. I can understand you being of the opinion that Price is better than those guys, but personally, I don't give fighters a free pass for looking good because I have seen too many "new GOAT's" that look great at club/domestic level and then can't step up. Courage Tshabalaba, 73 amateur fights, only lost his debut and won the other 72 by knockout. After 13 professional fights he was 13-0 with 11 KO's, same as David Price, only Tshabalaba KO'd 9 of his in the first round and he looked a million dollars doing it. But he got found out when he stepped up in levels. The only way you find out who is a Lennox Lewis and who is a Tshabalaba is by proving it against a good level of opposition. You can't just see who does the best job of ruining Tom Dallas and then guessing what would happen. I know Tyson Fury can fight 12 championship rounds and win because he's done it. What evidence is there of Price being able to last the 12? Guesstimation.
Price also sparred Haye and said afterwards that Haye was a different class and the best fighter he had sparred with
:rofl He got there in the end. Audley Harrison would probably do a better job partnering Wayne Rooney up front in the Euros than he would fighting for the world heavyweight title too.
Fair point well presented I believe Price to be well on the way to ad******g his professional style and believe he will be a force , if he's not already , i suppose time will tell :good
