I don't think about resume. Who is better just now...and why ?
Both of them are in top ten, below Klitschko, Fury, Joshua, Haye, Wilder, Ortiz and Povetkin.

For me Pulev, from two years ago was the better boxer, but he has aged noticeably (to my eyes).

Parker. The Kiwi wouldn't labour to a points win over a shot Chisora IMO.

Actually, I've never really understood the Pulev hype. I think he's always been vastly overrated.

Pulev may have lost confidence after the Wlad fight.

    Good post,mate:good

Ther is no doubt that Pulev has the better fight record at this point of time.
Parker vs Pulev could really go either way at this stage of their careers IMO.Parker is on the way up and Pulev on the way down.Pulev is not shot and Parker still needs time to compete with Wlad,Joshua,or Fury.
Pulev vs Parker would be a great fight at this point of time.Even if Parker loses this fight he is still young enough to come back and learn from that loss.Pulev would make a lot of noise and get another shot at a world title. And lets be honest Pulev is still able to beat guys like Martin or that American hype job Wilder.

There is nothing overrated about Pulev--he is one of the very few who has earned his spot with wins over Thompson, Dimentenko, Ustinov and Chisora. It astonishes me that hype jobs like Wilder and Joshua get the love on these boards as they avoid anything like a serious challenge while guys like Pulev, who do anything they can to find one, are dissed.

At this point: Pulev. In 2-3 years I think Parker can beat him.

Agree with this. And I don't think Parker is ready for AJ just yet. But I see a lot of potential in Parker. I don't like the fact he's fighting a bum in his next fight, as he needs more experience.

Pulev. He gives Joshua problems whereas Parker would get blown out early.

I've seen people rate his jab as one of the best in all of boxing. I heard people say he was going to dismantle Wlad. I never saw anything that marked him out as anything more than a particularly good european champion. Which in itself is a great achievement. I'm not 'dissing' anyone.

Beating an old Thompson and nothing special Dimentrenko and Ustinov doesn't mark you out as an elite talent. I would add that I agree with you re. AJ and Wilder but on his last showing against a shot del boy, I think you'd struggled to make a case for him beating either of them.

that "anything to find one" is largely waiting for a fortysomething to gass out so as to stop being outboxed by him, and then clobber the helpless oldie into submission.

This was his "route" to a title shot vs K bro. UTTERLY APPALLING. Pulev is pants.

Wilder Joshua and Pulev should be dissed, but Pulev more.

Tough one, head to head i could pulev beating Parker mainly behind the jab reasonably comfortably but Parker obviously has more upside and has a lot of qualities

But like a lot of zew Zealand boxers he seems to be lacking a bit tactically and technically although he has made big improvements

Hard to say at this point. Pulev looks like he's regressed a bit since the Wlad fight and Parker is overrated imo.
