I think Pulev could stink out a decision just because he has better stamina. Parker would have to make his mark early against Pulev. Competitive fight right now.
This would be the ideal fight for Parker before the Joshua clash - not that I think they would risk their IBF standing. Pulev has a good jab and keeps his distance well - two things the Kiwi would have to deal with against the Brit. The difference with Pulev is he fights very upright, offering much more target for Joseph's quick combinations than say...Takam, who is defensively responsible. Definitely winnable for the younger man.
Good fight but I would favour Parker at this point. Granted I have not seen too much Parker fights thou maybe i dont know all...
Could really go either way but at this point of time I would certainly favour Pulev over the inexperienced Parker.Maybe in two years Parker would have an easy time with the Bulgarian but at this stage of the Kiwi's career he is just too green to outbox a cagey vet like Pulev.Sure,a ko is always possible.
Would be an interesting fight. I am fascinated by how many people go on about how easy Parker is to blow away when it hasn't happened. Ever. How can you say a thing which has never happened be a certainty, especially when the guy who everyone is saying will do the knocking out has been knocked out and the guy who is meant to be being knocked out has professionally beaten better competition and has never even been dropped? Such weird logic
At the moment it's a close fight imo. Two years ago I'd pick Pulev, and in a few years it'll probably be Parker every day of the week.
