I'm just in denial I guess. I feel kinda jilted, because I know that Haye would beat the brakes off Adamek, Eddie Chambers, Seth Mitchell, Vitali, and anyone else... But he won't ak rite!!!!
This is a joke right? Head to head Bruno KOs Haye. Bruno fought the best in the division and was ahead in some of his losses before getting stopped. He outboxed Lewis for 6 rounds before he toyed with Lewis for a sec. But Bruno had crushing power, superior boxing skills (to Haye) including a great jab, and he was a legit heavyweight champion. Not to mention muscles are cool. Haha. Seriously I thought Haye had something to offer but I felt his performance against Klitschko was a step up from a disgrace. All the falling, and then showing his broken toe Cmon. I agree with someones post months ago, either postpone the fight or deal with it. Maybe Im wrong and if his toe was good he would have done better. But Bruno by a mile.
Compare Bruno and Wlad's heavyweight achievements :deal In what department is Frank Bruno better than Wlad? I'm not hating Frank Bruno. The guy was a gent and a warrior who fought ATG fighters. But if you match Bruno against Wlad's list of opponents he won't come out nearly as well as Wlad has.
They're both nothin special, but I'd pick Bruno as a more well rounded fighter, although Haye might be better overall since he's more phyiscally gifted.
Haye's speed advantage, combined with his punching power, IMO would have resulted in Bruno being TKOed. Haye would have run and potshotted until the time Bruno had ran out of steam. Bruno was so musclebound that he did not well in the later rounds of longer fights.
