Who is better Joe Calzaghe or Ricky Hatton?

    Yeah but Joe was a novice who'd never fought anywhere near world class.Because of that it turned out to be his toughest fight to date.
    It kinda cancelled out Eubanks decreptitude if you see what I mean.

    Please..Calzaghe, of course. Beats everyone who stands in front of him, every style put in front of him, and beats them soundly. In a couple of years, after Kessler and Lacy have many more fights (assuming Lacy isn't permanently broken after Calzaghe) and wins, Calzaghe will seem that much more impressive. Hatton's great, but in a different league. And Saturday night ain't going to be pretty for Ricky, unfortunately.

    I dunno about that. Joe Calzaghe win against Lacy was way more impressive than anything Hatton has done in his career. Lacy was in his prime going into that fight and Joe made every1 question is Lacy is still in his prime before going in to the fight he's going to have Saturday.

    I never said he wasn't, I said I wasn't sure and merely pointed out, that of the two, Hatton's most significant victory trumps any victories on Calzaghe's mediocre ledger.

    Calzaghe fans will spin this regardless! If Lacy and Kessler go on to lose many bouts without ever looking especially impressive, than Calzaghe fans will say that Calzaghe clearly ruined them.

    You Calzaghe fans are a nutty bunch, but quite entertaining!

    Lacy was in his prime Tszyu was a old man who had barely anything left. Joe C. made Lacy look bad not a lot of fighters can do that to Lacy like Joe C did it.
