Your not wrong there. If they fought I would most probably side with Corrales. Like I said, in terms of skill and career I pick Barrera. They never fought and never can so that's what I'm going by. See it's not soo hard to say that right? Career wise Barrera of course he had a way longer career while Corrales had a short career cause of him pass away which sucks. Corrales was a great fighter which he's proven that by beating 3 very good to great fighters in casa, freitas, castillo (same castillo that gave mayweather hell).

It's not and I never said otherwise, not arguing that point. What I'm saying is looking at their skill and their career against each other, I pick Barrera as the better. I don't go by an imaginary match up and even though Corrales' career was unfortunately cut short, I can't imagine what his career may have been like as well.

 

Barrera did lose some very important fights. A lot towards the later part of his career. Really going to throw the Khan fight in there? He should have retired long before that. He lost to Morales, then beat him twice.

Lost to khan.... i mean really MAB is great NOW... but in 2003-08-09 he had his struggles to remain a top fighter in his division...

Morales was never stopped when pac fought and beat him. Even maidana could nit stop a shot morales. Oscar was already stopped and is more of a promoter by then.

 

2003? That was the most respective time of his career? I'll happily admit if you want compare a 2003 Corrales vs 2003 Barrera then of course Corrales takes the cake there and like I said if they were to fight I would probably side with Corrales. But looking at their career as a whole, I just see Barrera as the better fighter. I'll always love Corrales and I loved to watch him fight, but I never saw him as a top fighter.

 

That drained corrales would be beaten by barrera and morales. The guy was so drained and troubled by prison. Pac would absolutely demolish that emaciated version.

If Maidana wasnt forced to wear pillow gloves which were the name winning gloves, he wouldve ko Morales. <<Thats why morales beat pacquiao in the first fight cause pacquiao was forced to wear the lightest gloves in boxing which messed up pacquiao punching power (Hints to why pacquiaio left his old proter to go with top rank). Winning gloves are to protect the fighters broken hands which floyd use to wear those same gloves. Power punchers dont like to wear winning gloves. Even barrera was forced to wear winning games in the third morales fight which barrera had to cut some top of the gloves so the thumb can fit right. Garcia who was forced to wear winning gloves only beat morales in the first fight by close decision but in the rematch when garcia can wear his normal gloves which were reyes gloves, he ko morales in 3 or 4 rounds.
