Who is better skillwise: Andre Dirrell or Chad Dawson

Dirrell is slightly faster, but I'd give the skill edge to Dawson. He's more fluid, calm and decisive.



Although Floyd sr said Dirrell was whooping Dawsons ass in sparring.

 

Both are good and Dirrell is faster, but I like the ability of Dawson to quickly pivot and fire.

 

Yeah Dawsons just more disciplined right now. Fights at a more controlled pace. He never panics or gets out of his gameplan. Watch the fight with Adamek, even though he was knocked down he quickly asserted his dominance again.

 

Dirrell easily. There is good reason to believe that this fight will happen sooner than later also.

 

Dirrell. I don't know what it is but Dawson lets me down. He's skilled but he lets me down...

 

Dawson is more skilled. Dirrell is more athletic.

I think Dawson is just more mature at this point. He has fought some good veterans and that always helps. Where's Rudyard? Come one dude.
