    Skillwise it's Dawson.

Dirrell needs experience and he can surely get up there.

Chad "The Black Goofy" Dawson is boring, not very clever, has no personality and is plain weird looking (not that this matters so much).

Dirrell is clever, likable and has all the things that Goofy Dawson lacks. Sure Dirrell lacks some balance and balls, but we already saw improvements yesterday... and on potential alone he is lightyears ahead of the black Goofy.

That's my take on it. Dirrell just hasn't quite yet delivered in my view. Against Abraham he was fading fast and against Froch, though I scored it for him, he didn't make it definitive although it appeared that he could have.

I really can't say how fast he was fading. AA did begin to pressure him, but it's not like he collapsed or anything. And remember it was not the 7th or the 8th round, the fight was about to end and Dirrell held his own pretty good until Abraham did what he did.

Sadly, neither fighter got his chance to prove he can take the W (Dirrell by hanging on till the end, and Abraham by knocking him out), thanx to the stupid move on AA's part. Hopefully we'll see these two in the ring again.

Actually, Dirrell's fights with Froch and Abraham kind of reminded me Dawson's two fights with Glen Johnson. Dawson showed major improvement, patience and discipline in the second fight, completely nullifying Johnson's offense. Dirrell also showed great improvement since the Froch fight, so definitely he's on the right track.

Dirrell is fading. Lawrence Cole thought he did Dirrell a favor by not counting over him but ever since the KD in round 10, Dirrell looked under pressure. However, this does not mean that AA would surely have won by KO. It just means that Dirrell was feeling the pressure and AA was putting it on more and more. Could Dirrell have lasted the fight? AA almost always KOs good fighters in the last few rounds so this is as expected by AA. Would he have done it? Perhaps. Noone knows.

I hope we have a rematch at some point - and if we do I expect odds to be a lot closer than they were before this fight.

What the hell is likable about Dirrell? He's always ****in whining, and has a whiney ass voice! Constantly talkin ****, and never backing it up. I think overall he's a nice dude, but he has alot of ***** in him.

Dawson isnt the most exciting fighter, but he DOES have heart. Something Dirrell doesnt know about.

Put em in the same ring and you'll see the differance. Bad Chad would lay an ass whuppin on the "Faketrix".

You're a moron if you honestly believed what you said, Dawson is no different then other any boxer personality wise. On potential they are about the same, both haven't reached their potential yet. But Dawson is the more proven better boxer right now. Right now though Dawson would beat him.

sometimes I hear these sparring stories, but you have to take into consideration when the sparring match happened. If it happened closer to when Dirrell was going to fight, and Dawson was just starting a training camp, then Dirrell would be sharper. And you really do not know if Dawson was feeling tired that day or working on defense or anything. Hard to rate sparring matches.

People like different things. I think Dawson looks and acts like a goof ball.

Dirrell beats Dawson by about a million on every possible level except experience.

Dawson, and I think that's pretty clear.

I can see Dirrell struggling with someone like Glencoffe.

I can't see Dawson struggling with someone like Froch though.

IF they fought now who would win? Dawson-Dirrell 60-40.
If they fought in 3 years who wins? Dirrell-Dawson 70-30.
Who is more intelligent? Dirrell-Dawson 95-5.
Who looks more like a goof ball? Dawson-Dirrell 99-1.
