Lennox Lewis, by some considerable distance. He's the only boxer who is broadly considered in the top five, certainly top 10, of all time in his weight class. He goes up against anyone in history in his division, Lewis is marginal underdog at worst.

I understand the debate, and that people have their reasons for supporting other boxers. But I just cannot see how any other British boxer come into even the same breath as Lewis, our only genuine all time great.

btw, I would add that Hamed is one of the best we've produced, whatever else is said here. incomparable power, and dominated a division for five years... not just rated number one in the division, like Hatton, but totally blew it away.

Naz regressed, came over like a bit of a ****, and was poor against Barrera after a few dodgy performances, but took on the best. The marquez stuff is unfair, it's not as if the world was calling out for this fight.

You could make a case for Kid Berg, Buchanan, Driscoll ahead of Lennox Lewis IMO

How does that affect it surely you do it on what he achieved not his past prime losses :huh

no more names to throw out but my personal pick is Robert Fitzsimmons

Kig Berg's case is about the same as Turpin's. One extremely great win, but some inconsistencies too.
