I still give Castillo the edge against Torres, but I don't know if he can make 140.
I think both Witter and Margarito beat Castillo, IMO, and Margo by a brutal KO.:!:

I've heard either Margarito or Torres. Both stop him at this point.

Castillo needs to retire while he is still in one piece. I hate to see a great fighter got wasted. Nobody beats fathertime.

Honestly, I think its about time for Castillo to hang up his gloves. He's been one of my favorite fighters for a while, so I hate to say it. BUT, he looked SO old in the Hatton fight, I would just hate to see him get seriously hurt. Still, I know he needs the money badly so I hope if he does fight again, he can somehow just get a good payday and let that be it.

Aside from Barrera and Morales, he was my favorite Mexican boxer of the past few years. I started watching boxing around the same time that Chavez finally stopped fighting (one of the first fights i remember watching live was De La Hoya - Chavez). I instantly loved him, but also realized his days were numbered. I was so happy when I first started seeing Castillo fight on TV, and got to see another fighter that had that same heart and passion that Chavez did - but also was a good boxer as well. Mexican boxing is one of the greatest and most entertaining aspects of the sport of boxing, and to me, Castillo was just as much a part of that whole experience as Morales or Barrera.

Though I saw the fight differently than the HBO team, seeing Mayweather as the winner, I still really loved Castillo's performance in their first fight, and to this day is one of my favorite fights to watch.

I wouldn't mind a great fighter like JLC to get one last big pay day but not at 147. I don't want to see him go out a KO victim in probably his last fight.

    Yeah sure . . . against who?

The only fighters who can give Castillo a big payday is DLH, Cotto, PBF or a rematch with Hatton.

. . . or what about just seeing him going out on a winning note? How about fighting Malignaggi for the belt before he retires? :D

Well I think one of the reasons why people want JLC to get a payday is because he NEEDS the money! During his fight with Herman N'Goudjo, the HBO guys explained in detail that he owes a lot of money to the Nevada commission, and other things as well.

i know paulie has what it takes to box castillos ears off, but if castillo can lure him into a fighters fight, then he does have a chance...remember the last round of castillo vs casamayor....casamayor's head nearly flew off of his shoulders....
