Chavez jr is supposed to fight August 11th. Who do you think he will fight. Im guessing Gabe Rosado, Vanes Martirosyan, or Angulo. The weight is probably 168,169lb.

It will be Vanes, Angulo or Yuri Foreman. Rosado is too game he's off the list.

After his last outing, I'm surprised he hasn't retired. Dude needs to find a new gig away from the spotlight.

He'd outweigh Vanes by 30 pounds fight night probably lol
I still say Vanes would do what Clenelo couldn't do & knock his pathetic ass OUT!!

You know that,I knew hardly anything about the guy until Golovkin fought him so I looked him up and imo he was unlucky to have any losses on his record.
    Can’t see Chavez beating him.

That’s why you get him to boil down to 164lbs as he was so drained at that he couldn’t put anything back on.
You know of all the dodgy stuff with Canelo, that’s the fight I’m surprised nobody ever mentions,so clear that Chavez was using some serious PEDs to make that weight as he was stripping that weight off for weeks to get like a concentration camp POW,not buying that there was any proper drug tests with that sham of a fight.

Rosado is already fighting Angulo, I thought.

Not that that is Ali/Frazier, but Angulo will actually make weight and attempt to win. Can't say the same for Jr.

Vanes is a really good fighter. He's been matched horribly. Draw against Lara, 2nd Lara fight I think Vanes beat him, I had Vanes beating Jermell. The only true losses in my opinion is Andrade and GGG.

Chavez managed to beat Lee. Size being the reason. Same would be very very possible against Vanes. There's quite a gap in their size. And ever boiling down to 168 again might be wishful thinking for Chavez at this point. We almost have to assume it would be just knowing what we know about his career. I would be stunned if Vanes starts fighting Super Middleweights.

Vanes' fights with Lara were competitive but in my opinion Lara clearly won them. His losses were all respectable but only in the last couple months has there been a big push that Vanes deserved to win all those fights. Predictable. And I'm not trying to do the opposite to dump on him because he fought Golovkin. Vanes is quality and in many ways "deserved better" when looking at his career.

Oh I weren’t for one minute suggesting he should of won those fights but it does seem like some of these guys like Postal the other day just don’t get a fair scorecard even in a loss which is why I was surprised after seeing his fights against Charlo,Lara ect and like you say deserves better.
Not sure anyone knows what chavez is really like anymore, his performance in the Canelo fight albeit very drained was odd.
