I just realized Chris isn't signed directly with Top Rank. I was trying to figure out Bob's angle with this fight. I thought maybe they might try to make a star out of chris by giving him the fight.
Let's face it he has the Hollywood look, and is well spoken. You throw that guy on Letterman after a Pac win and he's a star overnight.

But how is BOB gaining here?

again, arum worked with king when their rivalry was at it's peak. arum worked with gbp during their cold war when oscar was still running the company, he is again making fights with oscar now. he don't seem to have a problem working with di bella and shaw.

it's just floyd and his gullible groupies that keep perpetuating the belief that arum don't want to work with haymon and floyd. it gives them an excuse to why floyd ain't fighting pacquiao.

You have a fair point, but I don't see Star Boxing anywhere on noticeable that tells the story of a joint promo campaign even when Algeri is doing all the U.S press
