    Ah ok.

I wasn't sure if he was messing with me or was a fanboy.

Thanks for clarifying. Mental note made.

I agree Usyk's resume at heavy is better. how embarrassing.

Wilder had a better year in 2018 than Usyk's entire heavyweight career. Five knockdowns scored. His seventh and eighth successful heavyweight title defenses in the books (one over the current World Champ). Year four of his five-year reign successfully completed.

How many months will Usyk be champ?

Or the fat mess who lost every round in Saudi Arabia. The first heavyweight champion to be shut out in over a decade.

A win over Ortiz and a should-be loss does not equate a win over Anthony Joshua.

    Try again.

The World Champion doesn't have to beat the third of fourth best guy to prove he's the better man, as you claimed.

The third or fourth best has to beat the champion.

Tyson Fury is the World Champion. He's the best of his era until someone beats him.

You claiming he has to "beat" Whyte is trolling. Think history would care if Fury never fought Whyte? Jesus. Fury's on top whether they ever fight or not. Whyte isn't.

It's not brain surgery. Nobody has to "pull" anything. That's the way it is.

    1. Ruiz - Would be 50/50 with Wilder, beat Hunter, beat Anderson - looked average in his last showing + lacklustre loss to Joshua. But is proven to have a better skill set than Wilder. Flawed, but technically the best of the bunch. The only fighter of the 4 listed with a win over a top name (whether you like Joshua or not).|

    2. Wilder - Would be 50/50 with Ruiz, beat Hunter, beat Anderson - coming off 3 back to back beatings. Proven power, but was exposed for his limited potential against top fighters.

    3. Hunter - Arguably a better skill set than Wilder, but looked god awful in his showing against Jerry Forrest. Hasn't proven anything to date other than a controversial draw against Povetkin

    4. Anderson - Yet to be tested, but looks to be capable of rising to the top of the US list. Age is a big factor here, he has years to hone in his craft.

I don't have to try. Succesfully defending your title for the seventh and eighth time in four years - one of them against the undefeated World Champ -- and scoring five knockdowns in those two defenses is better than beating unranked Chazz Witherspoon, unranked Dereck Chisora and Joshua ... and never coming close to putting any of them down.

That was just one year in Wilder's reign.

Don't be a dumbass trying to score with the insults. What you wrote is stupid.

Everyone beats Chisora. He's lost close to a dozen times. And beating Joshua happens every other year these days. "Fat mess" Ruiz even managed it. "Fat Mess" Ruiz even put him away.

Its Wilder and not really close. Next up would be Ruiz after that it starts getting really dire for the current crop of U.S. heavyweights. I'll attempt a top ten current US heavy list (spoiler, its not good)

    1) Wilder
    2) Ruiz
    3) I guess Hunter but he just got a draw with Jerry Forrest
    4) Jerry Forrest? I can't believe I'm typing this
    5) Jared Anderson?
    6) The God Charles Martin?
    7) Trevor Bryan?
    8) Chris Arreola?
    9) Gerald Washington?
    10) Balogun?

Usyk beat Joshua and is unified champion.

That trumps anything Wilder ever did.

I'm sorry that upsets you so much.

The first decent fighter your man faced. Weighed 400 lbs alcoholic drug addict. rolled of his sofa and beat your guy 3 times 2 of which I called the RSPCA for animal cruelty.

Wilder will have Fury nighmares for the rest of his life

    FACT.

Firstly, it's Derek Chisora, not Dereck Chisora.

Secondly, Usyk nearly stopped Joshua in the 12th and did stop Witherspoon. He also had Chisora stunned at one stage.

Thirdly, Chisora might not be an elite level heavyweight, but neither are the boxers that Wilder beat.

I think a 10-defense, five year-reign and a successful defense against the World Champ trumps a months-long reign and a win over Joshua.

Five-year, 10-defense reigns are a little harder to come by.

    Firstly, sure. :duh

Second, Usyk didn't floor any of them. Wilder dropped Ortiz three times and Fury twice that year in his seventh and eighth successful defenses in four years. (That's better).

Thirdly, Wilder beat Luis Ortiz the first time and stopped him nearly four years ago ... and Ortiz is still rated in the top 10 by all four sanctioning bodies and Ring. And is fighting in an IBF eliminator next month to get the Usyk-Joshua II winner for their three straps.

Chisora WAS NOT rated in the top 10 BY ANYONE when Usyk beat him, and Chisora isn't rated in the top 10 by anyone now.

So, Chisora wasn't better then and he isn't now. :hang

So, you got one. Better take it and run. ;)

    Actually, I have to run.

Wilder is the best American heavyweight right now. I'm sure more will come along. Like I said, it's better than when Eddie Chambers and Tony Thompson were.
