I think its close but I think Whitaker and Macdonald are the best in there division and it's the 1st time in a long time UFC doesn't have the better champ with Macdonald handling Woodley with ease a few years ago.
If somehow Whitaker were to lose at UFC 225 I think its fair to say Bellator has the top dogs in both divisions

MacDonald > Woodley H2h. and Whittaker edges Mousasi slightly.

Mousasi is probably the best of the bunch.

Sure plenty of reasons to think that he has a pretty sick resume even without winning a UFC title or getting a title shot, the fact he has stayed at or near the top for so long is pretty amazing I remember always wanting to see him against Anderson Silva when he was still champ.
It's probably unlikely but I still hope he comes back and we can get him against Whitaker who I think is slightly better or even against Romero who I don't think he has fought yet either, outside of Mousasi fighting Rory I don't see alot of options at middleweight for him at Bellator.

I don't think MacDonald wins in a rematch nor do I think Moose beats Whittaker.

But they do have 2 world class champs that's for sure.

Woodley isn't going to beat MacDonald fighting for 30 seconds in a round. He'd lose again all the same. MacDonald completely tooled him and Woodley hasn't improved at all since - just has benefited from the division being complete dog**** with Wonderboy being the only test for him in the UFC. That's starting to change though with Usman and Dos Anjos' though.

Hopefully we will get to find out but I disagree with you here.

What do you disagree about? Woodley not improving, not taking a rematch or everything above? I'd have agreed with you not too long ago due to Rory looking like damaged goods after the 2nd Lawler fight against Thompson but he's looked good again after taking time off and beat an extremely legit top 10 fighter in Lima. I just think Rory is a terrible matchup for him. Woodley would lay against the fence occasionally trying to explode with occasional right hand but ultimately would lose a decision as Rory kept him at a distance and outpointed him over 5 rounds.

Macdonald is clearly better than Woodley imo and EASILY beat him when they fought. Whitakker - Mousasi is much closer but if forced to pick a winner I would go with Whitakker.

Yeah I disagree with all those points lol. Woodley will fight anyone the UFC tell him to. And I think this time he'd beat Rory. I don't think we'll ever see Rory back in UFC though as he's one of Bellators too stars now but in the UFC he would be just another contender, plus he's already beat Woodley so probably thinks he has nothing to prove.
