With John McDermott injured, Harrison, Chisora and Sexton with up coming fights in the future who does it leave us with? Skelton: I don't think will be interested in a third fight and hasn't fought since January Sprott: has already fought Williams 3 times already However there is one fighter that has been overlooked; with an impressive record of 50 wins (30 by KO) - 4 losses and one draw, he has been touring the world and has been popular with all the alpabetti-spaghetti belts Henry Akinwade Who do you think will be Williams next opponent?
He's fighting in Egypt against Francois Botha for the WBF title on 30th of November. I expect the fight on the 8th for the British isn't happening anymore.
Danny is probably crazy enough to fight on both occasions. Hell - I could imagine him taking a fight on an hours notice and walk to the ring with a pizza in one hand and a cheeseburger in the other.
How did everyone score the McDermott fight? I found it a pretty difficult one to score - Dave Parris reffed it horribly as well, waiting too long to deduct a point and then doing it constantly.
If I remember correctly I gave Mcdermott one round, one split and the rest to williams (thats excluding the points deducted)
I must admit I was expecting McDermott to get the nod - the 5th was a definite 10-8. Knowing how Dave Parris hates Williams I am surprised he didn't jump in and stop it. The commentary on Sky was disgusting - the most blatant one-sided nonsense I have ever heard, for any sport.
Williams won that fight handily, despite the better efforts of McDs uncle Dave "the bald one" Parris. If I had my way McDermott would have had a point per round deducted as a matter of course for being a complete disgrace to british boxing, the fat ****.
The thing with McDermott they say he actually looks worse than he is, apparently he's a decent runner. Williams is hardly toned either is he to be fair
