David Haye is scheduled to fight on December 10th, but as of yet we still don't know the opponent.

The most likely opponent would have been Shannon Briggs after months of build up. But with Briggs being assigned a title shot vs Lucas Browne that fight is no longer on the table.

Who are the possible opponents for Haye now on Dec 10th giving that the date is less than 5 weeks away? I personally don't think it will be Bellew given the timescales.

    Thoughts?

Since Haye has a guaranteed WBO shot I could see him boxing a level of fighter like Jason Gavern or Ding a Long. Someone he can take as little risk against as possible.

Could be Charr. Isn't he WBA interim champ now? Would be an easy night for Haye anyway. Charr is awful.

I don't think Haye is keen going the WBO route from the looks of his most recent interview, he seemed to laugh it off and carried on talking about the WBA situation. I think he knows Parker would be a very dangerous fight for him and he doesn't want anything to potentially stop an Anthony Joshua matchup because he knows that is what will make the most dollar for him to retire.

You said it mate,I find it incredible that he and his team have managed to find two heavyweights with inflated/manufactured records because talking about levels it's clear that his past few opponents were fighting at levels so far below what was needed to face Haye.

Money grabbing swine,so obvious he's only in it for a big fight with AJ and will face nobody of note until then?

Charr said he will fight in January in Germany. This is as of an article from yesterday. He didn't mention Haye.

I genuinely think that they are the best level of opponents he could afford without Sky/Matchroom backing.
