Well, it doesn't matter whether you consider it a ducking or not. When you are not fighting your mandatory and the sanctioning body tell you you should and then you say you would and fail to do so again, and then try to get the status of that mandatory revoked for the 3rd time, it's a ducking, baby! The reason it's a bad thing to do is because you are hugging the belt whilst not fighting your mandatory. That is unfair to your mandatory. Either drop the belt and fight whomever you please, or fight your mandatory! As simple as that. Dawson, however, is a prima donna who wants his cake and to eat it at the same time. Now, I know you think Diaconu is unworthy of being even mentioned in the same sentence as Dawson, but he was and had been repeatedly reconfirmed as Dawson's mandatory. Dawson was mandated to fight him by a two different deadlines and he refused to do so TWICE!

This is why this ducking is outrageous! There are some other people in the sport beside Dawson who want to milk that belt. So, either defend it or drop it! If you don't do either, it's a ducking!

Does the same not apply to those who disagree with you on this one?

For the last time...until the next time:roll: :

There's nothing wrong with Dawson deciding to avoid his mandatory if he can make a better fight against a better opponent. I'm all for it. But you cannot decide not to fight your mandatory and fight whomever you chose with the belt on the table, even if that person is God himself. By doing so, you're DUCKING your mandatory. If you want to fight GOD and not your mandatory, drop the belt, allowing your mandatory to fight for the vacated title and fight GOD! Everyone is happy, including the sanctioning body. You are happy because you've moved on to bigger and better things in fighting GOD, GOD is happy because he gets to fight a highly hyped up-and-coming p4p prospect, your mandatory is happy because he gets the title shot he's been waiting for for so long and the other guy is happy because he gets a title shot sooner than he thought.

Why do you people not get that?

It's wrong to prevent your mandatory from fighting for the title, when he's entitled to do so, particularly if you prevent him from doing so repeatedly, and try to do so indefinitely. If you do that, you are DUCKING him.

I think I might be getting closer. So Calzaghe "ducked" Stieglitz when he fought Manfredo, yeah?

    FINALLY!

And is the WBC not going to strip Dawson if he fights Tarver instead of Diacnou? (cause he ain't fighting both within the time period).

So all in all, Dawson ducked Diacnou as much as Calzaghe ducked Steilglitz.

    Basically a non-issue.

Look, buddy...I explained it clearly, carefully. If you cannot get your head around it, just accept it as fact, without trying to understand it, or stop arguing with me altogether.

    I'm not arguing

Your the one that seems to be getting worked up here. Saying things to people who don't agree with you like, "Let me help you", as if your view is the one and only.
